Very convenient stop along the Kumano-Kodo route. We brought our own food for dinner and the host set up a nice table outside for us. Everything was very clean and the host is really nice.

The guest house is surrounded by mountains and fields with plum trees blooming. The scenery is spectacular. The little house was cozy with all the things we needed. The owner was friendly and helpful. We had a chat in the breakfast time. The breakfast was delicious with coffee, miso soup, bagel and yogurt. It gave us enough energy for the hiking that we were going to do later. My family and I would like to visit Chikatsuyu and stay at the guesthouse again.

The lady owner is very helpful & caring, eventhough she didnt speak english but she understand what i need and very thoughful.. And english song play from TV most of the time which is very good... Nice dinner, and nice breakfast which was not included in the room price actually, i dont know why she is so super duper kind..

Once of the best please I stayed here in Japan. The host Haruki-san speaks Japanese and english. The dinner and breakfast are superb! The room is warm and comfy.

Clean, comfortable and with nice views. Convenient position in Chikatsuyu-oji, 10 min walk from bus station and 4 min walk from grocery store. The owner is super nice and share lots of information for traveling. Dinner box is delicate and abundant. There are washing machine and full kitchen. Really enjoy the stay and waking up in birds’ singing in the morning.
