Loved the location - bus stop was outside the property. Yunessun (onsen) across the street and 2 family marts. 10 min walk to Gora and Hakone Open Air Museum. Nestled in the mountains with a stunning garden and view. Amenities were great - onsen was beautiful and so clean. Breakfast and dinner were incredible! Blown away by the choices and suitable for all dietary requirements. The staff are friendly and accommodating. The room was spotless, comfortable, and had everything you could need. I booked the day before arriving and for the price, it was a steal! ($800 CAD for 3 nights with breakfast and dinner included - other places were $1500+)

Wow the staff were so sweet and welcoming! The whole time there was an amazing experience. It was truly a beautiful retreat. Our room had a view of a beautiful mountain with a cherry tree in bloom right outside.

An exceptional location overlooking Ashi Lake, a few steps from the famous lake toril and from the legendary Samurai Walk in the forest along the shores of Lake Ashi. An enchanting garden with a beautiful view of the Fuji Yama when it is not cloudy. A comfortable Onsen open almost around the clock, with indoor and outdoor basins, sauna and massage chairs. A free shuttle bus to the center of Motohakone. Two excellent Japanese and French restaurants. Competent and helpful staff who offered a much better alternative arrangement for the next leg of our travel. Three nights were not enough for enjoying this enchanting place. We'll come back.

Absolutely beautiful inn, room is super cozy and comfortable

The whole place was so luxurious. We went in a large group and booked multiple rooms. Each one had its known unique elements that made them special. One even had a secret room in the back behind an art piece. The rooms were large, the beds were comfy, the private onsen allow you to adjust the water temp as you liked. The dinner was a delicious 10 courses, and they had a special space for our large group to all eat together. Breakfast was also a tour of Japanese traditional foods. Great experience.
