Hotel in Soufrière
This French colonial estate house in Soufriere, St Lucia, is situated on a fully operating, 135-acre cocoa plantation. We loved the property!! What an experience! Our room (Banana) and all the other lodges are located in the middle of the rainforest surrounded with hummingbirds, palm trees and fruits. The view from our balcony was incredible, overlooking the plantations. Fantastic location. We stayed three nights while exploring the area (mud baths, waterfalls, pitons, chocolate plantations- all 5 mins away) and enjoying the sound of nature on our balcony. Strong wifi signal across the entire resort was also a bonus.

Set 1000 feet above the Caribbean Sea, with breathtaking views of Saint Lucia’s Piton Mountains, Rabot Hotel From Hotel Chocolat is a space where the sounds of nature replace the noise of day-to-day... While the staff (AnneCecile, Tanika, Antonio) were universally great, the setting of the Rabot was highlight - with sunset views of the Piton seemingly just in front of every deck and pool, was what made the stay exemplary. Throw in a wide range of seemingly endless activities at your disposal (or just laze around the pool and enjoy that view), and it was a stay not to be soon forgotten.

Situated in Soufrière, 400 metres from Soufriere Beach, Green Fig Resort & Spa features accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a terrace. The property has a breathtaking view, the Executive Suite I booked also overlooked the pool area and hosts one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in. The open room concept provided that serenity needed. This Resort also has 3 pool areas all overlooking the iconic Pitons. The staff are really friendly and offer excellent customer service. I though want to highlight Tim who took our luggage to the room but also later provided great history of the property and of Soufriere. A must stay!!! Don’t hesitate to book, thanks again!!!

Excellent room with very nice view and balcony. Very clean and nice facilities. Whitney is a great host and very helpful, attentive, and quick to respond. We checked in late in the evening, and he drove us to a restaurant to pick something up. Thanks, Whitney! :)
Soufrière
Located 770 ft above sea level, this 52-acre plantation features views of the World Heritage Pitons, Caribbean Sea and the Soufriere rain forest. All rooms have spectacular views. The property is located only a few minutes out of town Soufriere. If you have rented a car I totally recommand booking this accomodation! You are close to so many tourist attractions (actually to ALL of them!) as the Sulphur Springs, the Tet Paul Hike, various waterfalls and the Pitons. The Island is not so big, so you can as well see the whole Island while staying at La Haut Resort! The view here is AMAZING!! You see both of the Pitons, the sea, the town Soufirere and the beautiful nature right out of the balcony or even more beautiful- from the little garden infront of the house. You are as well near to severall beaches, as the Soufriere Beach Park with a lovely restaurant, where we had breakfast one day, the Anse Chastanet Beach and (in our opinion most beautiful one) the Sugar Beach. Directly at the property there‘s a restaurant called the „Lush restaurant“ where they serve delicious food. They‘re open for both, lunch and dinner time. We totally appreciate the friendliness of the workers and the clienliness in our room. All in one we defenitelly enjoyed our stay at the La Haut Resort and would recommand it to everyone else!

The resorts are great, it’s close to many adventures and sights… but in all my years of travel I’ve never been so hounded by peddlers. There were a few times we felt unsafe and were yelled at for not buying something. We
Soufriere is a must for anyone who visits St Lucia; there are the Pitons, the sulphur springs, Diamond baths and waterfalls and the botanical gardens and more. The locals are kind, polite, you are never hassled. The food is good and lots of good walks, transport is good. A good place to chill, walk or take a boat ride to the left Anse Chastanet or to the right to Sugar Beach.
It was exactly what we were looking for So much to see and experience: - Sulfur spring Mud Bath - $10US - Jerusalem Mineral Baths (recommended) $4US - Botanical Gardens - $6US - Tet Paul hike (approx. 1 hr) -$10US - Anse Mamin (our favourite beach) - Chastanet Beach - Hummingbird Beach - local beach - Sugar beach (our least favorite, busy with tours, snorkeling) - Roots restaurant in center of Soufrier - Fedo's restaurant - great local food
We hiked the Gros piton trail- strenuous but rewarding although they wouldn’t let us see the second viewpoint at the peak of petit piton which was disappointing. We also liked the diamond falls botanical garden- small but beautiful. Fun town with some good restaurants- we ate at the hummingbird restaurant which was excellent.
This is a small village and we felt really safe walking through the streets. We provisioned from the local grocery store for additional items on our boat. The bakery serves up fresh bread in the am but get their early! The locals were so nice and friendly. I would recommend eating at one of the local restaurants for bbq! We visited the mud baths early to avoid the crowds and our guide, Kevin was awesome! This is not the USA so just enjoy and soak up the local culture.
Good smaller town with enough amenities for a multi-day stay. Great beaches like Anse Mamin, restaurants like The Mango Tree, and activities like the Tet Paul Trail, Mud Bath at Sulphur Springs, and others.
Soufrière
Loved that I could see the Pitons out the window from my bed! The location is perfect, not just for the views but it's also basically walking distance from the town which was fantastic. The apartment is so well kept and beautiful. Sylvia, the housekeeper was so welcoming when we got in, gave us a little tour and made sure we knew we could contact Mora with any questions. Would definitely stay again, will definitely be telling anyone who wants to do a tour of Soufriere that this is the perfect location for their stay 😊
Arletta was an excellent host during our stay. She was always on hand to help and gave us recommendations for the local area. The apartment itself is spacious and in a great location within Soufriere. It felt like we were living with the locals - which is exactly what we wanted. If you’re up for a walk, you can also get to a number of beautiful beaches from here (Anse Mamin was our favourite). I will recommend Arletta’s place to anyone staying in the area. Thank you!!
Soufrière
Setting and tranquility. Individuality, Amazing staff who were always happy to help. We felt very safe which is important at the moment. Everything was well organised without being overly intrusive. Normally we like to travel independently wherever we are on holiday, but realising that it would probably not be possible at the moment we chose Anse Chastanet as we had visited before and knew it was somewhere we could happily spend a couple of weeks.
Soufrière
The location! The view over Soufriere to the Pitons was spectacular. The infinity pool was lovely and also had the amazing view. The staff were friendly and helpful. Our room also had a great view and a hammock to lie in and enjoy the sunset. It was large, clean and comfy with all we needed for our stay. The restaurant served a small menu but the food was good and reasonably priced.
Amazing views, stunning from the pool, bar restaurant, everyhwere. The hotel is carved right into the side of the mountain with a great view of grand piton but also only a 5 minute walk to town amd the beach. Staff were fabulous and the hotel had a great boutique feel, with petals and a big net over the bed and robes and slippers provided. Great spa service too.
Wonderful nature! Quiet, yet with amazing sounds of nature. Lovley helpful staff. The chocolate tour is fun and their chocolate tastes divine, better than Hotel Chocolate. Spacious 2 bed cottage with good kitchen. Great restaurant and cocktails. Maintenance was very responsive to help us with stuck doors and windows.
right in the centre of Soufriere so a good base to go anywhere. this is a no frills hotel and, as long as you come with that expectation, I’m sure you’ll enjoy it here. fyi - most places in Soufriere stop serving food by 5/6pm!
Soufrière
The location was amazing. Close walk to the beach, downtown Soufriere, restaurants, and grocery stores. Valery was a fantastic and thoughtful host. Favorite part was the herb garden and being able to sit out on the front patio.
Soufrière
This place is located in the Hills of Soufriere, close to all the iconic experiences. Dimond waterfalls, Pitons, Botanical Gardens, water taxis from Soufriere beach & so much more.
Fantastic room, fantastic facilities, awesome breakfast, great dinners and desserts. And the views!! Will struggle to stay at a better hotel in my lifetime.
The most beautiful views and lovely loft style room in a rustic hotel with Caribbean flair. The staff was accomodating and welcoming.
