I liked everything about this accommodation. The location was amazing. It was quiet. It was peaceful. The staff was absolutely amazing. And my children LOVED THE POOL. They were so helpful with everything that we needed. If there was an issue, I hope I will speak to them and that they was on it so quickly and not only that, my family that lived in Saint Lucia was able to come and stay with us for a couple of days so that was even more amazing. I would be definitely going back to stay right there in that location. So, guys, I hope to see you in 2026

Wonderful views and lovely to spend a day just lazing by the pool. Charmaine is an excellent manager of the property and everything is well kept, rooms, garden and the pool. She also helped us organise trips to the mud baths, different beaches and getting around the island. Although it is three different units it never felt crowded and we met some fabulous people. Great part of the island to base yourself, highly recommend!

Our stay in Soufriere, St. Lucia, was a truly unforgettable experience. Surrounded by the majestic Pitons and the Caribbean Sea, the town offers stunning views at every turn. We loved the laid-back, authentic vibe of Soufriere, with friendly locals and a peaceful atmosphere.
Highlights of our visit included the Sulphur Springs, where we soaked in the warm mineral baths, and Diamond Falls Botanical Gardens, a beautiful escape with vibrant flora and a serene waterfall. We also hiked the Tet Paul Nature Trail which allowed us the see the incredible amazing Groa Piton and Petite Piton at once. The hike was not challenging, and was very affordable. All the contributions made are used by the locals to go continue developing the trail and area of the hike.
The local cuisine was delicious, with fresh seafood and Creole dishes that gave us a true taste of St. Lucia. While some areas of the town are a bit rustic, this only adds to its charm. Soufriere is not overly touristy, which we appreciated it’s a perfect destination for those seeking natural beauty and tranquility.
Overall, Soufriere was the ideal spot for a romantic getaway. We left feeling refreshed and deeply connected to the island’s natural beauty and culture.

We were looking for a place to visit where we could travel...
We were looking for a place to visit where we could travel around on our own, make our own meals, explore nature and see beautiful scenery, and see what the country is like for the people who live there - and Saint Lucia was perfect! As long as you're up for the challenges of driving on the left side of the road with the driver's seat on the right, on sometimes very steep, curvy and rough roads (even just to get to your accommodations!), it's a great and safe country to drive around (highly recommend renting a 4-wheel drive jeep!). There are lots of sights to see and things to do within short distances, many places to shop for groceries or eat out, and many beaches to explore. We loved that all the beaches are public so we saw many local people enjoying the beach and sea on a holiday where we went to snorkel. It was very hot and humid when we went in May so we didn't do as much hiking as we planned, but there is a lot of hiking and trails to see waterfalls etc. that you can do. Definitely visit Tet Paul Nature Trail and highly recommend a boat cruise- we did a Sunset Cruise with Mystic Man Cruises and had an amazing experience- beautiful views along the coast and of the Pitons, and a school of dolphins surrounded us! We spent half our time in Saint Lucia near Soufriere in the mountains on the coast with a stunning view of the Pitons and the sea, and the other half further north in Choc Bay right on the beach, and it was truly the best of both worlds! Not overly touristy, commercial or crowded, and very friendly people! Things were more expensive than we expected - e.g. the cost of groceries surprised us - even for fruits they grow locally. However we so thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience, it was definitely worth it!

Soufriere is a weird kind of place, it looks sad and it was a place where we didn't feel safe, lots of men sitting around offering you stuff, we only found 1 restaurant half decent (where we ate at twice and the food was lovely, don't remember the name but it's close to the dock and it looks like it's where tour guides take tourists to), lots of drunk people on the street too.
I understand why people go to St Lucia and just stay at their resorts, this area is not yet prepared to receive tourists who like to explore.
The beaches nearby are nice but Sugar Beach is ridiculous, yes, it is beautiful but it is absurd that a 5 star hotel takes up the whole beach.
I'm glad we only spent 1 night here and the rest of the holiday in Rodney Bay, where there are more restaurants and lovely beaches. Much better infra-structure for tourism.

Great place for a base to St Lucia, as the most interesting places to visit are near here. There are a lot of locals that hang out in the city which makes it congested but they are very friendly, and all the people in the shops were friendly as well. The beach in the city is decent, and free, whereas the nearby resort ones are very nice but cost $$. I would base here again. Driving the road north is something you'll want to do only once due to how long it takes and the aggressive drivers, so plan accordingly!! :)

Soufriere is a must for anyone who visits St Lucia; there are the Pitons, the sulphur springs, Diamond baths and waterfalls and the botanical gardens and more. The locals are kind, polite, you are never hassled. The food is good and lots of good walks, transport is good. A good place to chill, walk or take a boat ride to the left Anse Chastanet or to the right to Sugar Beach.

Beautifully located overlooking Soufriere and the Pitons,
this location is perfect for a relaxed getaway, likewise driving to local attractions is less than 20 minutes - just be aware these roads are winding, with many potholes.
Surrounded by nature and being an ex plantation, the resort has a laidback rustic charm about it.
Staff are welcoming and friendly, even non-guest facing staff will be acknowledging and willing to assist.
The restaurant on-site was predominantly St Lucian and Jamaican, breakfast was lovely and relaxed too.
Amazing stay at the hotel! Everything was great! The staff super friendly and accommodating even after our stay, as our flight was delayed for more than 24hours, we came back to the hotel at 4am and we were welcome to rest in a cabin free of charge. We couldn’t be thankful enough for the kindness. I definitely recommend this beautiful place.
Absolutely incredible... our family had a phenomenal stay here. The most incredible setting, beautiful views, Villa Hermitage felt like an amazing escape from reality. The property is close to Hotel Chocolat, so wonderful to explore the surrounding area. I couldn't recommend it enough!

Amazing views from the pool and our room (Could be the best view I have ever seen, could look at it all day). Quiet Location away from the busier Soufries Town. Staff around the hotel were very nice.
