I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Lion Inn in Bandarawela. The climate here is naturally cool, so even without AC the room was very comfortable and refreshing. It’s a perfect place to relax and enjoy the peaceful hill country atmosphere. The hotel was clean and well-maintained, and the overall environment felt calm and quiet. The staff were very friendly and supportive, always ready to help with anything we needed. Overall, a great experience and highly recommended for anyone looking for a cool and relaxing stay in Bandarawela.

Excellent breakfast. They were able to give us what we ordered. Very helpful and friendly staff mades feel at home and comfortable. Beautiful view of the mountains from every where in the hotel. The room we were given had a super views of the mountain right from our bed which was so nice and gave a cozy feeling. Enjoyed the walk around the garden enjoying the breathtaking views.

Beautifully renovated colonial manor house. Our room was spacious, elegant and sparkling clean. This is a tranquil oasis with wonderful views. The staff were all so attentive and helpful. Dilshan, the manager, was so thoughtful and very professional.

We got. A really great last minute deal on this place and it was such a treat. The staff were super friendly and welcoming and helpful. Coming from hot weather in the south to cool enough weather to enjoy a duvet was SO nice! The bed was massive and the duvet was so soft and cosy, the shower was lovely and the room even had. A hairdryer. The views from the balcony was lovely and interesting to watch people working the land

Great Value Stay A very good value for money stay. Slightly away from Ella town, but reachable within 30 minutes if you have transport. The staff are extremely helpful and go out of their way to make your stay memorable. Highly recommended.

Location is perfect! So close to the beach and shops. Prema, our host was so lovely she was like a mother away from home. She took care of us and checked in on us regularly as well as making a delicious brekkie that I won’t forget. The rooms are cozy and comfy but the best part about the stay was Prema. Thank you!
