Ella was way too expensive, so staying here in Bandarawela was a fantastic decision! The room was very budget-friendly, but the facilities were top-notch—definitely not cheap quality. Extremely happy with my stay!

Warm seldom from the staff and good communication prior to our arrival. Most amazing view from our balcony, truly breathtaking taking. Bed was comfortable with decent linen and towels. Breakfast and dinner were both very good. Plentiful and tasty. Lovely garden to have a little wander in.

The historical mansion is beautifully located and exceptionally maintained with attention to every detail. A lovely variety of tropical trees and plants can be found in the garden. The manager and his staff are simply outstanding, as they made us feel welcome and were attending to every possible need.

The staff and the boss, Mr. Ratwatte, who were super quick to respond to any request. We requested a change of room due to my sister-in-law not being very mobile, and this was done immediately. I also requested a heater as I felt the cold, and this too was provided. The breakfast was excellent, as was the lunch which I had with friends - Sri Lankan rice & curry - the best meal I had in my two week stay in Sri Lanka.

We got. A really great last minute deal on this place and it was such a treat. The staff were super friendly and welcoming and helpful. Coming from hot weather in the south to cool enough weather to enjoy a duvet was SO nice! The bed was massive and the duvet was so soft and cosy, the shower was lovely and the room even had. A hairdryer. The views from the balcony was lovely and interesting to watch people working the land

Such a relaxed spot with beautiful spacious rooms and a beautiful view. So much effort put into the breakfast, we enjoyed it a lot!
