It is the sexiest hotel, from the minute you arrive you feel like family. The staff are so adorable, make the best breakfasts and everyday is different. We stayed in the family room which was equipped with everything comfiest bed I’ve had in Sri Lanka and the pool area is like we are staying in the Maldives. Honestly don’t even look at anywhere else just book now!!!

We had a wonderful stay at Sola Ahangama. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, always making us feel welcome. The food was delicious, with fresh ingredients and great variety. What we loved most was the peaceful atmosphere and serenity of the property — the perfect place to relax and unwind. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a beautiful and tranquil getaway.

Exceptional stay — one of our all-time top 10 hotels Natalia and I must have stayed in thousands—if not over 10,000—hotels in our lifetime. Only a handful truly stay with you and make you want to return. This place in Ahangama made it straight into our personal top 10. The stay is extremely personal and detail-oriented, with great service, a wonderful vibe, and beautiful design. And the view… wow. Falling asleep to the sound of the ocean is all you need. The food is creative and delicious, the coffee is amazing, and overall the value for money is outstanding. A very strong recommendation from us. If you’re coming to the south, you will not be disappointed.

Lovely , comfortable hotel , perfect location in Fort Galle next to the ocean. Very arty , lots of ambience. We were checked in and looked after by Shakila and are very happy with all her assistance.All staff members are very kind and professional. Beautiful restaurant with very good food. For healthy and delicious breakfast we can sincerely recommend Coco and Date .

Super beautiful, clean, well decorated place. You are on the beach, view is incredible. Everything is curated to perfection. Staff were super helpful and kind, advised us and gave us tips for our next stop during the trip. Breakfast was fresh and absolutely delicious.

Animals Ahangama is an absolute gem. The boutique design is stunning — cozy, stylish, and full of character. It truly feels like a home away from home.
