This hotel is located right in the center of Echternach at beginning of the pedestrian zone coming from the market place. Rooms were nice, big enough, but no airco. The owner and the staff were very kind and easy to communicate with. We had a very good breakfast in the morning and then used the sauna which was in a relaxing zone of the farm. It had a safe place to park our bikes and the self-checkin option was very helpful. I would highly recommend the place :)

A compact little town with large area pedestrianised, plenty of restaurants to choose from, several points of interest, other places to visit within a short drive, good and frequent bus service taking 50 minutes to the centre of Luxembourg City
We loved Echternach and will definitely return. A recommendation for a 3 course meal is 11 euros at the youth hostel at lunchtime. Delicious! The town is a good base to discover Eastern Luxembourg from. Buses cost 2 euros per trip. The Abbey and roman villa are worth visiting.
It is a quiet, relaxed city with some good (Asian) restaurants. I think Echternach is the perfect hub for hiking or biking in the Mullerthal. There are possibilities to go out on sightseeing as well to Vianden, Luxemburg City, etc.
Great spot for walking the Mullerthal Trail. Some beautiful, historic sites in this small town, which we toured in the afternoon after doing a 12 km trail walk. We visited Echternach for 2 nights as part of a week-long trip that included Brussels, Waterloo, Luxembourg City, and Trier. We visited WWII sites (foxholes in Foy and the American Cemetary in Luxembourg) on our drive back to Brussels airport via Bastogne. A very satisfying trip.
We arrived on a Monday so most restaurants were closed. We also arrived pretty late in the evening so most restaurants that were open had their kitchens already closed, even though the website said it was still open. Luckily there was this little late-night kebab place and it was very good! Very friendly service also. During the day, shops take a lunch break so they are closed for at least an hour. Plan your day accordingly! Restaurants are of course open at those times.
As a taster for the area, the length of stay was just right. Having visited in mid-March, the bulk of the visitor attractions were yet to open, but to stroll around and take in the serene atmosphere and glorious views left me with the desire to return to more fully appreciate the town and environs. Being on a tight budget, I stayed and ate at the Youth Hostel on the outskirts, next to the man-made lake, which thankfully blends in quite well with the natural surroundings. The facilities and food were in a different class to any Youth Hostel I have visited in the UK. This is not to say that British Hostels are naff and lousy value for money, but that what I got far exceeded what I expected for what I paid. I would however recommend the Chocolate House in the Market Square for some lunchtime indulgence. Although feeling quite selfish and not wanting Echternach to descend into the leagues of tourist honey-traps, I would not hesitate to recommend this exquisite town to anyone seeking a break from the same old humdrum existence and looking for somewhere to breathe!
Excellent stay! The hotel is spotlessly clean. The staff very friendly. The swimming pool a welcome treat after a hot day. The restaurant is excellent, the best meal I've had in a while. The location superb, close enough to town without the noise. The surrounding area is beautiful with some challenging hikes. I definately recommend this hotel and would love to visit again.
Echternach
Excellent location for walks and close to Echternach centre. Amazing top floor sitting room. Beautiful spiral staircase (not really suitable for families with very young children). Bedrooms and bathrooms tastefully decorated. Well - equipped kitchen. All very clean upon arrival.
Echternach
Excellent location in a charming counteyside family-owned farmhouse. Close enough to Echternach to do some shopping if needed or indeed to start one of the award-winning Mullerthal trails. The hostess was nice and the breakfast was excellent with lots of healthy options.
Good room, bit small but with all necessities covered. Location central in Echternach, close to the marketplace and ideal to relax. Very tasty food at the restaurant in the evening. Also very close to the abbey which was an oasis of peace and quiet later in the evening.
The hotel is very beautiful and the staff is very nice. You will be always advised. The rooms are very comfortable with amazing view (especially with the view of Echternach)
The hotel and room were very good. The staff was very friendly. Covid19 measures made the experience a bit special, but it was OK and professionally dealt with.

Wonderful place to spend time, very beautiful, with friendly people. It is also within about an hour of Luxembourg City by bus, which is quite convenient.
