In the middle of the Ziz valley, just next to a nice river and a beautiful kasbah, this facility is perfect for those who travels between Fes and the desert. The place is managed by a berber family, who made our stay perfect: nice welcoming, amazing dinner and breakfast, and finally nice guided tour of the near ziz valley until the old kasbah. The property was right in the middle of the valley with beautiful views. The room was a good size and we stayed nice and warm with the heat pump (very quiet) and floor oil fin heater. The balcony is nice to sit on and enjoy. The breakfast was typical Moroccan and very good. The dinner they serve is a bit expensive but extremely delicious and we definitely recommend it. The staff is so friendly and ready to help with anything you need.

The stay here with my family was absolutely amazing. We stopped here to break up the drive from Fes to Merzouga and it was our favorite place in all of Morocco. Its location is beautiful and the place was so cozy and comfortable. The food was delicious and for an unbeatable price. And the best part of the stay was when Ismail took time out of his busy schedule to take my family for a beautiful hike through the oasis, Kasbah and mountains. He even brought his donkey up for our kids to spend time with. Luna del fuego was incredible.

This "Gite" is rustic family house located outside of town and thus very quiet and a truly Moroccan experience, warm family and we were well cared for. The manager's wife made us home cooked meals and Aziz the owner took us to his home in the city for a traditional Iftar meal. I loved talking with the local children and chilling on the patio under a fragrant orange tree. A highlight of our trip! You will need a car and GPS to find it or contact Aziz and he will pick you up in town.
