Majid is a real host, very relaxed with a nice tea we arrived. It's a beautiful area, rooms are big, the place is simple but all you need. Then he makes you local food for a good price and very very tasty. One of the best we had so far. Don. T forget to do the tour around his village and area to see how these people live simple and happy and calm. I recommend this place to stop for sure 1 day but a couple more will give you more time to relax and discover. Thanks mom ami!

Kasbah Gite D’etape Gorges De Ziz is located in Achbaro. Achbaro a tiny village, 5 hours south of Fes. It is a great place to overnight to break the long trip from the Sahara Desert to Fes or Meknes. Ali, the owner and manager of the kasbah, cooked us a very tasty chicken & vegetables tajine for dinner. After an excellent breakfast, Ali sent us on our way with a bag full of delicious dates from the local palmeraie.
