Located along the coastline of Omadhoo, Kirulhiya Maldives features a modern and tranquil accommodations with free wifi access in the reception area. The owner organised a private birthday sunset cruise and dinner on a deserted island which exceeded my expectations. He managed to kayak from our big boat to the island all the food and even a very good chocolate cake. We were lucky to see dolphins and the most beautiful sunset we had seen since arriving. This guesthouse and island was our third and final stop (previously went to Maamigili and Dhigurah Islands). We loved the island local vibe, drinking coffee in the cafes with fisherman and the house coral reef was great. We hired a kayak for free and spent most our time out looking for turtles and reef sharks. The water is very transparent so no need to snorkel!
Noomuraka Inn is located in Omadhoo and has a shared lounge and a private beach area.
Featuring a private beach area and a garden, Nemo Inn is located in Omadhoo. I’ve spent a week with my husband. You can feel the real local life here. Slow, peaceful, friendly neighbors, beautiful surreal colors of the ocean, more and more. The 5 brothers who run this place have their roles and know exactly what they’re doing. They care and try their best to make your stay memorable. If you need anything they will be glad to help you. Chef Munis used to work at Lily beach resort before, which means you’re having luxury resort food here. Every dish he cooked for us was amazing. You can also ask for him which is not on the menu. Discover some traditional dishes (might be spicy though). Excursions might feel a bit pricy at first but you will feel pretty reasonable after doing it. There is one dive shop on this island if you are interested in scuba diving. We didn’t do it but heard that this area is popular to divers. Even just snorkeling around the island is amazing, felt like I’ve jumped into an aquarium. We did night fishing, whale shark & manta snorkeling, island picnic. Unfortunately, we couldn’t see whale sharks, however we did see a pod of mantas. Night fishing is definitely a must do. You can also see glowing planktons on the boat. Just splash water and they will glow. The moon and the stars in the sky were unforgettable. We had beachside bbq with the fish we caught. Of course this is not like water villas that people usually have in mind when they think of maldives, but there are so much more than that and too bad I cannot fully describe it. I’m gonna miss this island so much. Thank you Azeem, Munis, Moosa, Nafew, Humaid, and Shafaz! (Sorry if I miss spelled your name. Tried my best)

Nestled within the quaint fishing village of Omadhoo, Kuri Inn offers homely and relaxed accommodations in the heart of Ari Atoll. Great value and great staff, especially the manager Ahmed. The property was clean and the island was cleaner and more tourist-friendly than other local islands we visited.

Among the facilities of this property are a restaurant, room service and a shared lounge, along with free WiFi. The property offers bike rental and features a garden and sun terrace. Amazing experience! Everybody was incredibly welcoming and kind, every staff member wanted to let our wishes come true: from the evening on the beach to the manta excursion everything was designed to make us feel home. We saw 10 mantas in 2 hours and even if it was low season the weather was simply amazing. The rooms are nice, clean and comfortable and the beach is 2 mins away. Shakeeb (the owner) worked on many resort islands and knows how to treat guests! He is very passionate and you can see it from how he treats his clients. Also the restaurant is very cheap( 3/4$ for a meal) and the food tastes super. All the locals were welcoming and helpful. The excursions are great and cheap( see photo). I can only recommend Shakeeb's guest house: a great service for an incredibly low price for everyone who wants to experience the true Maldivian culture. Well done Shakeeb!!
Facing the beachfront in Mahibadhoo, Liberty Guest House has a garden and a shared lounge. Great location. Not a touristy island, so very genuinely 'Maldivian'. The staff at Liberty are fantastic, their organisation right from Male airport was outstanding and the food is exquisit. Great town/island to just walk around and mix with the locals. Lots of excursions available from Liberty Guest House for diving, snorkelling, romantic deserted island picnics and much more.
