I loved Casa Kuaa! It was by far the best hotel I have stayed at in Puerto Escondido. The rooms are clean, comfortable, well-lit, tastefully decorated, with great location right on the beach and far enough from the noise of the main street to sleep at night yet close enough to walk to the restaurants and shops. There are surf racks and you can just step out to the beach and look left to check conditions at La Punta surf break. Each room has a porch or terrace that overlooks either the ocean or the beautifully landscaped garden and pool. The internet works great - it reaches all the way to the hammocks and lounge chairs on the beach. I was able to do video calls in the hammock! The lobby has tables and chairs you can work or eat on. There is filtered water provided there. The staff are all gracious and friendly. Telesflora fetched me a spoon to eat my cake with. The concierge called a cab for me and helped me carry my luggage. The bartender put bandages on my back after I hit the reef while surfing. Overall, the hotel was fantastic. I wish I could live here. I wonder if they have long-term stay rates...

Beautiful place, so much space and super comfortable. Great pool, feels luxurious without a crazy price tag. Great to have so much private space. The owner is super helpful and lovely.

I read the reviews before I booked this place. The one bad review was so odd and picky. I also didn’t find it to be true. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The AC was great. The views were amazing. The restaurant was very good and had great vegetarian options.
