We had a wonderful stay here and really enjoyed the house. The place is very spacious and full of beautiful vintage furniture that gives it a special atmosphere. It honestly feels a bit like staying in a small museum, with many interesting old pieces and details that make the house unique and charming. The area is very quiet, with no noise or unpleasant smells, so it was perfect for a good night’s sleep. The yard is large and very nice, and there is a lovely outdoor fireplace where you can sit in the evening and enjoy the atmosphere. There is also a shop very close by, which is very convenient. The host was extremely kind and welcoming, which made the stay even better. Overall, it was a fantastic experience and we would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!

Ghaub is an exceptional property, situated in its own nature conservatory and on the site of an old mission. There is a lot of history in the property, accompanied by an old graveyard and rock etchings dating back to some of the earlier San inhabitants. Take the opportunity and go for long, relatively easy walks and you will be rewarded with a multitude of wildlife sightings of virtually every kind. Accommodation is in three blocks of farmhouse-style rooms, surrounded by large airy verandas, lovely to enjoy with a long, cold drink. There are also three seemingly well appointed campsites for those wanting to brave a slightly wilder accommodation option. Certainly a property we will return to time and time again.
