Everything, it's such a great place to stay in Managua! The owner and all staff members are super friendly day & night! Many places to sit and relax besides your room, very comfortable, and very safe. Nice large rooms with large comfortable beds with a large attached bathroom. Room with private balcony was an awesome bonus and it included AC. We recieved free breakfast with coffee which is so generous and delicious everytime! We have stayed here numerous times and we will continue to do so when we come to Managua to stay or even a night here and there when traveling through. Highly recommend this place.

The place is truly excellent, and my stay was absolutely wonderful. The property is beautiful, with a charming and inviting atmosphere. The breakfasts and the service were exceptional, and everything was thoughtfully prepared and presented. If I were to make one suggestion, it would be to add a small gym or fitness area, which would make the experience even more complete. Other than that, it was a 10 out of 10 experience, and I would gladly recommend it.

Overall, Managua is great to stay, but if you're a tourist, traveling to go around the country, then Managua is good only for a few days. There are a lot of great places to go around the country to view and enjoy the beauty that Nicaragua has to offer.

The parks and access to the lakes, and access to the volcanos. Great roads. Interesting history. Affordability- such reasonable prices. I do have a concern that plastic wastes and roadside rubbish detract from the cleanliness of the country and is really disappointing. Levels of water pollution in the lake of Nicaragua….

Maybe the worst planned city in the whole world.

Maybe the worst planned city in the whole world. That being said, check the tragic history of the 1972 earthquake. Seems the city basically all fell down, including any historically significant neighborhoods, and it hasn't really been rebuilt.

We went to downtown Managua and enjoyed a large festival at the city center. We also went to an archaeological museum, and the malecon near the city center. Lagoon Tiscapa was really disappointing because you could only look at the lagoon from above and could not walk along its banks. Taxis were easy to use and safe. We were out in the evening walking around the city center and felt very safe after dark. There were a lot of people out because of the festival.

This is one of the worst places I have ever traveled to.

This is one of the worst places I have ever traveled to. It is very hot. It is very dirty. There is trash everywhere. The Central American culture is horrible. Everyone pushes you out of the way and is disrespectful and inconsiderate. People are so selfish. It is always loud. People play their music really loud and do not wear ear buds or headsets. There is not much to do in Managua. There is just the area near Plaza Nicaragua/Placio Nacional. I would not go there again except to see Otempe and other volcanoes.

The hostel feels like a home, it has a perfect size and nice common areas including a garden. The staff is friendly and helpful and you can stay there for a long time because of its positive vibes. The bathroom and dorm were clean and Reparto San Juan is a nicer part of Managua, from where you can walk to Metrocentro and even to Paseo Xolotlan. The breakfast was good.

The hotel is like staying in an art gallery, painting, sculptures and antiques throughout. Our room was clean, well furnished with air conditioning and TV. The shower was good and toiletries were provided. Breakfast was the best we’ve had in both Nicaragua and Costa Rica. Sara, the receptionist was lovely, very helpful and nothing seemed too much trouble.

Location to the airport is perfect and feels like a haven in Managua. Communal area is great to hang whilst waiting for a flight and the food is better than what you’d get at the airport. Staff are the best, so helpful and kind.
