The staff was very nice! Although i didn't eat breakfast, the area looked nice. The neighborhood was also close to parks and seemed to be where locals lived. The bus was also located a 2 min walk away which was great.

Situated on a friendly street in Amstelveen, at Hotel Abina you can enjoy easy access to the bustling center of town with the peace and prettiness of the nearby Amsterdam Forest.

Free parking in the vicinity, and the bus stop to city center is around 10 min walking distance away. We received a complementary upgrade to a room with private bathroom, which turned out to be a great bargain since our room was the furthest away from the loud late night music. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, and there was a lot to choose from at breakfast.

    There's not really much or anything to do in Amstelveen except going to Amsterdam. The roads are confusing to drive, they have a shopping center but is to confusing to walk around there. The park in the centre is sad and not inviting at all.

    I had never been to Amstelveen, and it is actually quite nice. Nothing historic or anything, but it seems like a place that offers good quality of life to its citizens. Good selection of shops and restaurants. I would not mind living here, but I probably can't afford it.

    The location was very quiet and just outside of the city in...

    The location was very quiet and just outside of the city in the business district. If you want a restaurant and something to do in the evening you would need to take a tram. However, frequent trams and the Metro made it very easy to travel into the city centre, even late at night. Trams arrived every few minutes. The studio XL was spacious enough for me and my two teenagers. The bathroom was huge for a small apartment. It had everything you needed for a week long stay and you were made to feel at home. The only thing missing was some outside space to sit in. The balcony was available but you could not take your own food or drinks up to it. The restaurant provided drinks and cocktails which you could pay for instead. We had a very enjoyable stay in Amsterdam and the quality accommodation helped.

    going towards the center of Amsterdam took us a a bit more of 50 min or less but the scenery was what made the difference. You can enjoy the Clean atmosphere when taking the tram, and its only needed to transfer 1 time.

    Amstelveen is a lovely wee place but being only 20 mins by car from Amsterdam centre you’ll want to go there. Amstelveen has local shops and amenities needed but there’s not a great deal to do in the area and not within walking distance.

    I will write about my Room , I booked and paid for a studio XXL . They gave me room no. 013 . I think the room 013 is only XL and not XXL . Kindly check with them and your files . If they gave me only studio XL ,instead of XXL ,then I want a refund for the extra price I paid . Thank you. Mohamed Shamaa

    Nicely decorated house under the smoke of Amsterdam and Amstelveen. Contemporary interior. A nice place to relax. Anything you need for a few days stay (or longer) is present. For us the location was ideal. It was easy to drive to Amsterdam, loads of supermarkets and shops nearby (Amstelveen). We will definately book again and recommend this accomodation to other that travel by car, or that are not afraid to spend some money on an Uber/Taxi. Nice place!

    This is an excellent, smart hotel, 20 minute bus ride from Amsterdam city centre, quiet, suburban surroundings on the edge of a lovely large park area -Amsterdam Bos-which was a delight to explore. Very good continental breakfast with plenty of choice. An easy bus journey straight to Schipol airport on leaving. Recommended.

    We liked the location and the comfort of the room. The hotel is near to a tram stop and you can reach Amsterdam Centrum in 20/30 minutes. The all you can eat breakfast was great. Amstelveen is a great location if you want to take a break from the city’s centre.

    The apartments had everything you could need and had plenty of room, even for a family of 4. It was clean, the staff were friendly. It was also super close to the tram station to get into Amsterdam central.
