We liked everything about it. The (quiet) location, the staff person we met and the buildings. Our bedroom was clean, cozy and fully appointed,

Almost a century ago on the exact the same spot where Hotel Restaurant De Uitkijk now sits was a tea house. Since then a lot has been changed.

The overall experience was very good. The staff were extremely cooperative and helpful. My original check-in time was 10 pm, but I arrived late. They kindly explained the process for accessing my room and getting the key card, which made everything smooth and stress-free.

Lovely “Dutch” neighborhood location within walking distance to the family we were visiting close to shopping, restaurants. . Carpe Diem was the perfect “home away from home” for our group of four. It was definitely a place where we could come back to each night and relax and refresh. Clean, inviting, pleasant, cozy, and so much natural light on both the east and west side. Also ideally located for visits with our extended family in the area. We loved it there, and miss it already. ❤️
