The location is quiet and in beautiful nature, its a perfect spot if you want to walk or bike in nature or play golf offcourse. Its a very nice hotel and if you compare it to the price its just excellent. I was here before when the current owner just took over and the difference is night and day in how it looks but the is still very good and the service is just outstanding!

A small, charming town. People are very kind and friendly.

A small, charming town. People are very kind and friendly. Neat and tidy. Bicycle paths everywhere. A large grocery store, public transport, several companies. Near a beautiful lake with a sandy beach and facilities for children. Perfect as a base for exploring the Netherlands. 1.5h by car to Amsterdam, 2h to Rotterdam. 8 km to the amusement park in Slagharen. During a week's stay, I recommend visiting: Giethoorn, Zaans Museum, Amsterdam, Leiden, Gouda on Thursdays - the market (April-August), Delft, Kinderdijk. In addition to Zaans, I suggest you use bikes everywhere :)
