The Martini Hotel is a jewel in Groningen. We enjoyed everything that the hotel has to offer despite having a tiny bathroom. Perfect location. Close to many restaurants and supermarket. This charming hotel with a 1930’s flair on the first floor is super close to their main street (city center) on your left across the street and the Martini Tower is located on the right across the street. Their main street has many stores and again places to eat. Remember to try their “poffertjes,” (tiny pancakes) and ice cream. We enjoyed “the smurfs” ( blue ice cream and mango flavor). You will see the white stand that looks Ike a van, as soon you arrived in the Main Street ( city center).

This design hotel offers newly renovated and elegant rooms and is situated directly to the Hoornsemeer. It includes an heated indoor swimming pool and a spacious garden. Spacious rooms, lovely green location, great view of the trees from the large windows, the building is beautiful and the architecture very unusual and creative, the bathroom is beautiful.

This hotel is located a 5-minute walk from the Martini Tower and the Groninger Museum. City Hotel Groningen features comfortable rooms and free Wi-Fi. Location (walkable from station and to restaurants & bars); simple design; helpful staff; good size comfortable room; surprisingly quiet, as I didn't hear much noise from the street or from the other rooms.

Corps De Garde is located in a monumental building at the characteristic Groningen canal, 500 metres away from the Grote Markt Square. It offers uniquely decorated rooms with free WiFi. The location is perfect.Everything was as expected in the hotel.Clean room and comfortable bed.Breakfast excellent.The staff were very helpful and kind.We will be back for sure.

At walking distance from the city centre, the NH Groningen Hotel offers comfortable rooms with free Wi-Fi. The well-kept rooms have air conditioning, a work desk and a private bathroom. the room was very clean and spacious.

Set in a 15th-century building, Prinsenhof offers individually decorated rooms. It features the Prinsenhof Gardens, a renaissance-style courtyard with a landscaped rose and herb garden. This was an exceptional hotel. A historical building tastefully and beautifully modernized. The highlight was a meal at Restaurant Nassau in the hotel. This restaurant exceeds other Michelin Star restaurants that we have dined at, and is not to be missed! Our night in the Prinsenhof was the standout of our 4 week trip in Europe. Thank you!

Hotel De Doelen is located at the foot of the Martini tower, in a beautiful monumental building. The hotel offers modern facilities and free Wi-Fi. Excellent location in the city center. Great views. Large spacious room with lovely furniture. Beautiful bathroom with bath and shower. The Hotel lounge with an open fire. The terrace with city views. The atmosphere and decor. The coffee machine with quality coffee available anytime. The friendly staff. All for a reasonable price.
