One of few modern approaches when it comes down to sustainability and ease of access to equipment provided. I can't promote more than a review that TV had exposed HDMI port, all other deprecated hotels should learn from this one, such a simple commodity is top notch in my eyes. With additional tips such as turning off tap water while you are brushing your teeth reeks of care for the environment. The receptionist was lovely and made us feel welcome on arrival. We did not expect comfort in such a remote place, yet we got it. Also it was quite quiet, no door slamming of other guests could have heard.

For over 100 years, Arctic Boutique Hotel Northcape, by the old name HAVLY, has been a safe haven for visitors and fishermen to Honningsvåg.

The best accommodation we had in Norway! All because of Ivea the best hostess！Ivea is so friendly, patient and thorough that not only gave us the most practical advice for our trip at Nordkapp including bus lines, boat cruises and restaurants! With her recommendations, we not only saw puffins at the bird safari but also the spectacular midnight sun! On the way back, must be the luck Ivea brought to us, we also saw the most unbelievable and only once at a life time - the midnight rainbow!! Ivea helped us to book a king crab feast at a very nice and comfortable restaurant, which is absolutely amazing! No words could express our gratitude to Ivea for her help, you made our trip to Nordkapp!

What a spectacular setting! Check-in was simple with easy-to-follow instructions - all communication was like this, and timely. The cabin was well set out, and we appreciated having enough seats to watch TV. The kitchen had everything we needed to self-cater, although a bit tricky to reach the microwave on top of the refrigerator (we moved it on to the bench for ease of use). Parking just outside so no stress - reindeer constantly on the surrounding mountains provided us with plenty of entertainment. There is a restaurant in the teepees on site, but we didn't book in time (we did notice busloads stopping for dinner). An easy drive to shops and supermarkets in Honningsvag, and only 40 min to NordKapp. Happily recommend.
