Absolutely stunning period property and the oldest known hotel in Norway. There are antique and vintage marvels to discover in every nook and cranny of this place. The welcome is warm and homely, the evening meal consisted of wonderfully honest and simple Norwegian dishes, made with love and care according to family recipes. The rooms were quiet and the bed super comfortable. The new owner took the place over only a few months ago and I would urge anyone considering this hotel to ignore all online reviews of the place dating back to beyond the past year. This is a real gem. I’d love to come back.

We were staying in the family room. It was actually 2 connecting rooms. So, we had 2 bathrooms!! Nice and clean room. Grocery is just opposite the hotel. Staffs are super nice. Just 30 minutes drive to the Nigardsbeen Glacier.
