Annabelle and her family were the absolute best! Their place is conveniently near the central square where you can have delicious Filipino breakfast and amazing grilled fish and meat for lunch or dinner. Wi-Fi was a concern but they were kind enough to place us in a room near the router as I had warned them ahead of time I’d be working while I was there. However, 4G is widely available throughout the island so just get a data plan if you don’t want to risk it! The room was spacious and very comfortable. I had the unfortunate accident of stepping on a sea urchin and they did everything they could to help me through it. JPH was by far the highlight of our strip in the Philippines. We’ll definitely come back and highly recommend it to everyone!!

The property is only a short walk to the beach, the rooms are very clean and comfortable. When you first arrive they give you tips on where to eat, places to see and best way to get to those places. They are extremely friendly and welcoming and will help you as much as you can. Can’t rate highly enough how great my stay was. Will definitely be recommending to friends and family.

Right next to the port to take a ferry to Malapascua island. Very attentive owners, restaurant next door open til 9pm. The owners really are very nice, nothing is too difficult, they will always try to help. Wonderful people and the true epitome of Filipino hospitality.

Large room. Little dim but worked. Bed was comfortable. AC worked. Attentive staff and very helpful. They packed us food when we had to leave on early morning scuba dive. They also assisted in arranging a taxi ride to Cebu airport. Breakfast was good and restaurant had a lot of choices. Being outside the city center we didn’t have to listen to roosters or dogs. Would book again.

Best hotel in the Philippines! This was my fourth stay at Tepanee Beach Resort. The Italian owners are great, so welcoming and friendly. I enjoyed my chats with Andrea each day. Their marine reserve is absolutely amazing. My son and I went snorkelling with the black tip reef sharks several times a day - this was an absolute highlight. They have a small gym on site which functions quite well and the view from the bungalows are stunning. Can't wait to come back again.

I had the best experience staying at Capsule Hotel in Malapascua. I got stuck on the island because of the storm, and the staff truly went above and beyond for me. They helped with every little thing, checked in on me, and were genuinely some of the kindest, most caring people I’ve met while traveling. They even upgraded my room from a single to a double for free! The food at the hostel is really good, and after I checked out they still let me shower and use the lockers because I went diving. The rooms and beds are super clean, comfortable, and much nicer than most hostels I’ve stayed in. The location is also perfect! super close to almost all the dive shops, right near the beach, and only about a 5 minute walk from the port. Honestly, this was my favorite hostel experience so far. Amazing staff, clean and comfy rooms, and just an overall great place to stay. Totally recommend it! :)
