Ciche Podlasie is a homely family run boarding house with excellent facilities and locally sourced food served at breakfast by the family. While I was a solo traveller, the property does cater for larger groups, and is well signposted within the national park from Siemianowka village, with off road parking. I enjoyed the almost total silence - except for the bison in the wildlife reserve calling nearby, but not visible till you went out an found them - no simple task - best viewed from a distance with an expert guide for the benefit of all. August and early September a good time to visit in the breeding season, This is my second visit to the area and I would definitely base myself at Cisle Podlasie again.
