Such a peaceful location, pastoral, rolling hills, bells of sheep, yet within easy drive to the coast and hiking trails. Genuinely kind and helpful staff; host Nelson couldn’t have been more helpful. Spacious, clean room and bath, comfortable bed. Generous breakfast.

The breakfast, the room and the amazing swimming pool made this experience unforgettable. Senhor Joaquim and his wife are incredibly welcoming and friendly, super attentive to details and making sure you have a positive and relaxing staying. Their kindness and dedication are outstanding! Easy access (despite no in person reception). Very clean, modern room with thoughtful shared amenities (fridge, coffee, water). Awesome shower. 10 rooms (total), only two of which were in use so my stay was very quiet. I didn't use the garden area, but it looked lovely. I was walking the Rota Vicentina (Historical), so I didn't have a lot of extra time to check out the town, but I did walk to the Ermida de Nossa (a combo spring fed pool/fountain) which I highly recommend. Dinner at the next-door restaurant (Cafe A Lareira - say hi to Samantha, Hugo and Jessica for me!) was excellent and very informative as the South African/Portuguese owners speak perfect English and know the area very well.
