Property was exactly as described. small house with washer, coffee pot, and washing machine. Clean and great location in the south central island. That’s all we needed because most of our time is exploring the island. Restrauant/ coffee shop with black sand beach one block away for morning espresso. Very good value.

Everything was perfect. From the location, to facilities to the coziness of the villa. The villas were exceptionally clean. Everything feels brand new and the staff were so friendly. We loved Romeu, Sophia and everyone we met! We were a bit worried when we initially booked as it was brand new on Booking, but wow what a hidden gem! We wanted to extend our stay from how much we loved it! It was just what we were looking for in Azores! We wanted a hotel that felt homey and this was it!

Absolutely beautiful hotel. Grounds are beautiful with a banana plantation behind the hotel. Free bananas and free pastries on site. Amazing gourmet breakfast with complimentary mimosa. Amazing and welcoming staff who offered complimentary welcome drinks, upgraded our room to a room with a private courtyard, allowed late check out and it offered an honesty bar. Miguel was wonderful! Comfortable bed. Actual walk up rate can be $500 a night in high season. More than a place to sleep - a cool welcoming experience.

Oh, I am in love with this place: the room, surrounding area, service, food - all were perfect. We stayed in the room with the pool. It was cold to swim, obviously, but nice to look at. The view on the ocean and mountains is breathtaking. Sunrise paints your room in different colors, tiny birds play and sing on the grass in front of the house every morning. Perfect. And they prepared special tea ritual every evening for us.
