Beautiful village, nice and typical interior, the absolute sublime ànd home made breakfast( yes even the bread and the cheese), the sympathic host, air conditioning…Just perfect!!! Must be hard to do better.

This is a very isolated but unique hotel. Difficult to find staff as the facility covers a large area and most staff we did find, have multiple responsibilities. The room was unique and comfortable, but needed some updating. The restaurant was lovely and the dinner was nice as well. it was a bit expensive for the experience

Our large room on the third floor had a little terrace with a view of a mountainside. We loved sitting and listening to the variety of birds, even a cuckoo! I did morning yoga in a special meditation room. They also had a kids play area, pool table/game area and quiet desk - all indoors with nature view. The heated outdoor pool with massaging jets was incredible after a day of sightseeing. Breakfast was excellent with great views from large windows. The beds were comfy and the room temperature control was very responsive. The staff were so courteous and helpful. They gave us a 20% off voucher for the Quinta Vale de Aldeia which led us to take their marvelous tour and tasting. There aren't enough stars for this hotel.

The property was beautiful! The entry hall with the stone and woodwork was gorgeous. The accommodations were terrific. The grounds were so pretty! Everything seemed to be top quality. Beatriz was so special and really made us feel at home. The breakfast was delicious. Many thanks for a wonderful two night stay and a special thanks to Beatriz! She is lovely!
