Taken from the municipality website …” The Convent of Desagravo do Santíssimo Sacramento in Vila Pouca da Beira was founded in the second half of the 18th century by the town council, nobility and people, in accordance with the Royal and Episcopal Provision that authorized its establishment.”. This serene property, once convent was absolute Grace 🥰. The rooms, staff, breakfast … all impeccable. Bathtub to bed linens … sublime! Muito Obrigada ❤️

Everything is good here, breakfast is plentiful and with good choices. Staff always pleasant and courteous. The cleanlinesss is excellent, the fresh smell when you walk in is indicative of how the hotel is kept. Maitre de very conscientious and obliging. Air con good and room was immaculate. It is a very charming and wonderful historic property. The place is decorated with a very good taste, it is really special. The owners are very kind and do everything for you stay comfortable. The breakfast was delicious with lot of things prepared by the owners. I will be back for sure.

The property was comfortable with so much attention to every detail that could add to comfort- comfortable beds, thick plush towels, assorted pillow styles,, heated towel rack. It was very quiet, & set in a beautiful garden. I am here in early spring with only a few blooming plants, but i can imagine it will be spectacular in full bloom. Isabel was so kind & went way beyond what i would expect to be sure everything was perfect for my stay- she even called a nearby restaurant to be sure they had outdoor seating & that my dog could go along. I felt like i was staying with a friend! I will definitely be back
