Breakfast every day is abundant, with local cheese, honey, bread, jams, local juice, tea and coffee. We were able to ask for some scrambled eggs though, as we don’t eat that many carbs usually.

My sister and I loved this pretty, tidy cottage and its spectacular view. The road to reach it is steep but manageable. The host, Elisabete was kind and helpful. She left a lovely gift basket for us weary travelers. It has comfortable beds and a small outside terrace. We loved our stay at Cantinho dos Cagarros. Also, Lages do Pico is very close, friendly and fun to explore.

The location was superb. The ocean in front of you, in a wonderful, quiet neighborhood. The kitchen was well stocked, and there was plenty of room in the house. It had a very comfortable feel.
