Loved this property! Our favorite thus far. The hosts were splendid. Fabulous Romanian breakfast. Flowers at every turn. Beautiful!

Even breakfast was not included we were spoiled with good coffee and tea from the house. The owners are extremely nice people. We enjoyed special game evenings by the fireplace. Outside in the yard you can also find a tennis table. And the village Sibiel is a very beautiful one.

We tried the dinner and we really enjoyed it, especially the complementary schnaps and wine. We would definitely recommend it!!

Located in a picturesque valley and surrounded by mountains, Pensiunea Sibiel is just a 2-minute drive from Sibiel’s famous Museum of Icons. Everything was very neat,clean,the food was excellent and the personnel was wonderful.

Delightful village a short distance from Sibiu. Very quiet place to while away a few days with great hiking opportunities in the surrounding hills. Worth noting the village is a few kilometers from the train station so if arriving by rail it's roughly a 45 minute walk into town or will have to figure out another transport. Also found a dearth of restaurants during low season (April) but there is a small grocery store in the center. Not a negative (it is a small village) but may be worth picking up a few items before arriving.
There is a magic spot in the middle of nowhere - I am talking about Pensiunea Mioritica. This place is not for everybody, only for people who are looking for peace, magic mood and silence. It is not full of luxury, but it is not the most important here. We found everything what we expected - clean beds, fresh towells and warm water. Soriel is the most welcome manager. And it is really impressive how he arrange the garden and surroundings. For sure one day we will back here.
Friendly couple run this hotel. Not much English spoken but they rang their daughter to act as a translator! One night we had dinner and it was very good traditional food and home made wine for 10 E each. Pleasant location, village attractive and charming including cows wondering around and water drawn from the well for them. Our room had a small balcony which was a nice place to cool down during a hot August evening and listen to the stream below.
The location was a quiet place which was ideal for us to do our language study. The host and hostess were very helpful in ensuring our comfort. We were able to have our meal at the dining table downstairs and store food in the fridge downstairs. The hostess offered to wash our plates. The road from Sibiel to Sibiu is a good road.
To begin with Elena is a super host. She is outgoing, warm, friendly and makes one feel home the minute one steps in. The hotel is spotless clean. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Breakfast is just what one needs to start the day. Location is very good. The view is like a picture.

We arrived at the hotel at 21 h and were the only guests that night. The man who welcomed us was extremely helpful and still arranged dinner for us although the kitchen was about to close. The hotel is surrounded by green and has a small river running next to it.
Amazing view!!! Delicious food. Close to sibiu airport but still Calm and peaceful. The rooms are great.
