An excellent place for a family vacation! Very friendly and accommodating hosts! The place has everything you need, it's warm, clean, and cozy. A 5-minute walk away is a ski school and a sledding hill - a great place for family fun! There are cafes and restaurants close by. I highly recommend it!

Last time I was at Tara, I was staying at Mitrovac na Tari...

Last time I was at Tara, I was staying at Mitrovac na Tari and I can say I much prefer Kaludjerske Bare. There is more to see, more to walk arround, there are lovely hiking and walking trails called Trim staza and Staza ljubavi near hotel Omorika. You can also drink good coffee in the garden of hotel Javor and eat cheap meals right next to that, in express restaurant. Unfortunately, for more you will have to travel by car since public transport on Tara is almost non-existing. But if you are by car, a must-see are ofc Perućac and Zaovine lake, Banjska stena viewpoint, Ladjevac spring, Osluša viewpoint (and drinking coffee at the coffeeshop there with a view), Bilješka stena, waterfall Vrelo, Kruščica, Spajića lake and in the end when heading to Bajina bašta, I reccomend visiting Drina river house and eating in the restaurant Studenac with a view on Drina.

This is the best place to stay in Tara, much better than...

This is the best place to stay in Tara, much better than Bajna Bašta which is down on Drina. The views are those of free contryside, the hills covered bygrass and some forests nearby. From here it is easy to go by foot to one viewpoint Crnjeskovo, other places if interest are easily reachable by car, there is horse club nearby, the restarant Jeremičak that serves very tasty breakfasts (serbian style), we will definitely come again!

You can experience mountain Tara in all it's beauty from...

You can experience mountain Tara in all it's beauty from Kaludjerske Bare, great pastures, pine forests, mountain houses, few hotels and restaurants, gas station, in short everything you might need to enjoy Tara in it's splendor. Roads to Mitrovac, Kremna and Bajina Bajina will take you further and give new views of Tara.

It’s most beautiful mountain with thick forests and clean lake. I didn’t like poor horses tied at the tree ALL day, no water, next to Jeremicak, the national restaurant. Other wise, you can find everything you need, plus go for a week in deep forest and breathe freshest air and scent of pine trees 🌲 . I love Tara 💚

Very disappointing.

Very disappointing. It could be such a nice place but no effort to made to accommodate English speaking visitors. Food not good at all. Very difficult to find hotel. Restaurant closes at 19:00 in the evening and they lock the hotel at 22:00. . The pictures promise a lot but the actual experience was bad. When we complained we were told: "welcome to Serbia". Could be such a nice place with the correct service levels. Will not stay at this hotel again

Extremely beautiful location on Tara.

Extremely beautiful location on Tara. Even for those who do not come with their own vehicle. The center has everything you need... and the bus stops in several places. Nature is wonderful. Excellent walking trails. Any recommendation!

The hosts were very friendly and helpful. The two-bedroom apartment is great: fresh new, clean and equipped with all the necessary domestic appliances. The apartment has a lovely terrace (my wife and I loved to stare at the stars during the night). The location of the apartment was also great, with many restaurants located nearby (Jeremičak, Villa Tara, Kurta). Also, there are many forest trails around the Omorika Hotel (which is only about 1km distance from the apartment). All in all, our family enjoyed our stay on Tara.

The hosts were very friendly and helpful. The kitchen and bedroom were clean. We loved the balcony with a beautiful view of the forest. It is very close to the toboggan run, shops, as well as the Omorika hotel which also has its own toboggan run and a large parking lot. Right next to the hotel is the Javor restaurant with affordable prices. Everything is very close, yet quiet for a vacation.

The staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome, the room was wonderful and beautifully designed, and every detail — from the TV, the kitchen …to the bathroom — exceeded my expectations. Simpatičan stan sa terasom, komforan i cist .Udaljen oko 5minuta od centralnog dela mesta i 10 minuta od hotela Omorika. Parking je dostupan ispred zgrade. Sve je bilo u redu. Biljana, domacin apartmana vrlo ljubazna i predusretljiva, sa puno saveta kako provesti vreme i sta posetiti.
