A great stay - everything I needed in a hotel and the staff were brilliant making me feel welcome on a rainy day when I arrived. I'll definitely be back.

The apartment is located at one of the very best neighborhoods in Falun - beautiful family houses with gardens all around and absolute peace and quiet (neither road noise, nor dog-barking whatsoever). The pictures and the description perfectly matched our experience, it was just wonderful to have no "surprises" but to get exactly what we were expecting. Furthermore - as we were travelling with small kids - all the small extras we asked for (e.g. child bed and even child toilet seats) were sorted out for us without an issue. There were even coloring books and pencils waiting for us which was a nice touch. The kitchen in the apartment is very well equipped which made it easy to cook a few meals during our stay. There is a coffee brewer in the apartment but you should bring/buy your own coffee (bonus tip: in the big ICA in Falun there are free(!) quality coffee machines). Furthermore the included-to-use washing machine and dryer (washing powder and detergent also included) and vacuum cleaner came extremely in handy - not only was it easy to keep the place tidy for ourselves on a daily basis (with small kids that's really valuable) but also we didn't need to take our entire family wardrobe with us for the vacation which saved us a lot of money on luggage costs with our flight. Free parking right in front of the entrance to the apartment - brilliant (but the apartment is also comfortably accessible with the local bus - 14 minutes from the city central). A huge playground and skateboard park (Samuelsdalsparken) is in a 15-minute walking distance as well as a huge Coop and City Gross for shopping are quite close by.

Kristina is a very welcoming and helpful host, and the lodging is spacious and well-equipped. She offered us the most wonderful Swedish coffee to brew! Location is very peaceful and quiet - a taste of "real Sweden" - but not far from a major thoroughfare, so a convenient stop for intercity travel in Dalarna.

A nice location in Lugnet Falum, close to the winter sports facilities. However, it is quite far from the Falum city centre (this was not a problem for us because we travelled by bicycle. Nice, clean and well-equipped cottages.
