Good transport links. Green bus travel- make sure you have a payment card per person. Travelled with husband and had a personal card that we loaded with the currency, to use during stay. Husband used the card to get a ticket and passed the card to me to swipe. Driver said 1 card- 1 person. Good job I had a bank card I could use!! Don't get caught out. No problem on the yellow buses though.

Pålsjöbaden the best state owned sauna on the sea!! Best on winter when the sea is rough and dangerous. Our visit to Helsingborg was totally spoilt due to the problem my son had with his rooms. His first room was not cleaned properly, he found a used tissue inside the toilet roll when he used it, also the mattress was filthy and it stunk. They moved him to another room right by to the elevator, it was noisy so he did not have a good night's sleep, we have complained with the desk, they told us to send a manager an email, we have still not received a reply

It is a nice city but it is not very big. Within the first two of our three days in Helsingborg we had seen everything. Therefore we ended up in Väla, a shopping center in the outskirts of the city, on our last day, which I recommend doing if you like to shop. Of the more touristy things to do, I recommend getting up in Kärnan (a tower from the middle ages), visiting Sofiero (a castle with an amazing garden during spring and summer), and Frederiksdal (an outdoor museum, though I would say it is mostly for families with children). Because the city is pretty small, it is very easy to walk between the things you want to see. However Sofiero is located a bit outside of the city, but you can take a bus directly from downtown Helsingborg or you can, like I did, use a bicycle for easier transportation.

Beautiful city with a seafront promenade that is amazing especially in the summer months. Everything is at your fingertips, trains, ferries, bike and scooters. Friendly people with an abundance of eateries. An experience not to miss.

Nice city; Near to the baltic sea; Good offer of restaurants but if you want to eat you have to do it before kl 9 pm( kitchen closes everywhere very early). Sofiero castle fee to high nothing Special!
