Dakar was a fascinating and engaging place to spend a few days. While chaotic in parts (the journey from city to airport for example), it has interesting monuments and museums, enjoyable and busy markets, and a great bar and restaurant scene too.

A vibrant city with calmer beaches and busy markets. The people are incredibly friendly. I would go again as I didn't have time to fully explore. On the plateau, explore the historic memory island of Gorée, go to the HLM market, the textiles market in Sandaga, the food market of Kermel. If you have time, go to the beach in Ngor and swim to Ngor island. Eat some local grilled fish and fresh veges. Just drink bottled water :)CharlotteFrance - Scored 1010

Senegal has very friendly people with lots of places to see and visit. It's easy to move around either by hailing Taxis or using the Yango ride app. I enjoyed my visits to the Marché Soumbédioune. Here, you can buy authentic African craft from the Artisanal Village. Nearby is the Soumbédioune sea food market where you can buy a variety of fresh and grilled sea food to delight your palate. I enjoyed a meal of grilled fish and fries here. The Mosque of Divinity and African Renaissance Monument are also 2 nice places I saw. Before leaving for Ghana, I stopped by the Sea Plaza shopping mall to buy gifts for my friends and family back at home.

Hi My is name is Al. I was born in Guinea but grew up in America. I was in Senegal to visit families. Good: The place was wonderful. Clean. The pool was clean and everything else. The bad The big refrigerator was not working but the provided small one new. Some of the toilets has issue draining water. But with the host Babacar everything was possible. The guy was excellent, nice and very disponible. Always available when needed something. If it wasn’t him, I wouldn’t have stay there during my stay. Because of the address
