Hotel Santos Silva has exceeded our expectations. All the facilities are exceptional, with very high quality standards. The owner and its staff made us feeling at home which helped a lot with our experience in São Tomé.

Great value for money. Central location, good room size, A/C worked perfectly, clean room with good water pressure...nice balcony to watch the life below. The lady owner didn't speak English well but nothing Google Translate can't resolve. The staff were very helpful and friendly. On one day I found complementary pastries in my room which was a nice touch. There is a nice supermarket next door that has everything you may need. I was able to walk in the night to get some food. It is safer than it may look at night. Some guests have reported noise feom cars on the street...didn't really affect me as I always carry ear plugs. It is easier to wear them than silence the world. Overall a pleasant experience and would recommend this hotel.

Breakfast excellent. Drinks and meals expensive

The people, particularly Mister José Manuel. The kindest, the warmest person, always available to help and be of service. It was great talking to him about the History and Nature. The breakfast with delicious local fruits, fresh bread and eggs and of course, the coffee!

The employees always smiling and very polite with good recommendations. We felt really welcomed! The swimming pool is beautiful and the breakfast was also very good. Overall we had an amazing experience, also received an upgrade as we were on our honey moon.

Josè & Luca were super friendly and always available to answer all our many questions with patience and assist us during our trip. I stayed with with my family & friends, there are bungalows surrounded by greenery and rooms by the restaurant. We rented two rooms by the restaurant and we slept very well: the rooms have mirrored glass windows & curtains so people cannot see inside your room, also it was not noisy, because it gets dark very early people tend to go to bed rather early as well, the location is pleasantly breezy and the aircon works very well and there were surprisingly few mosquitoes, no mosquitoes in the rooms at all, because they all have nets. We were also happy to have rented the Pajero 4x4 car from Casa Cantagalo directly as it is not uncommon to get a flat tyre in the São Tomé road in general, and Josè and the staff were available to fix our car promptly. The car rental fee is not cheap but was totally worth it. The breakfast was good ( fresh omelettes, fresh fruit, bread, hot drinks ), all staff super friendly, just take it easy because the service is a bit slow in general ( on the whole island ). Very clean basic rooms with comfortable bed, good water pressure in the shower, the restaurant was OK for us, menu a bit repetitive but very handy and convenient to have it there as we were tired in the evening from all our explorations and did not feel like going out a lot at night. It is lovely to hang out on the terrace for drinks and the atmosphere is relaxed & friendly it was easy to socialize with fellow guests. I'll certainly be back !

This has to be the best place we stayed on the Island. Everyone is very welcoming, check in was easy and the rooms are beautiful and new. We also got our laundry done which is a treat. Dinner was very good and the breakfast is probably the best breakfast we’ve had in years at a hotel and we travel a lot! The pool and a beautiful garden are just what we need to relax before our flight to Principe. We will be back soon. 100%!

Emoyeni Gardens is a wonderful hotel because everything works exactly as it should. That is very clearly due to the excellent way Jane manages the place. You can feel her presence even when she is not there, which says a great deal about the care, thought and attention behind everything. And when she is there, you have the chance to enjoy fun and interesting conversations, get plenty of excellent tips, and receive very practical help as well, for example with organising transport to the south. Thank you very much for everything — I felt extremely comfortable and well looked after throughout my stay.

Very central location in a quiet neighbourhood on a residential street, short walk to Papa Figo restaurant, clean and modern inside, free airport pick up is a bonus.

Good food, and comfortable rooms.

The room was clean. It was in a quiet area, close to the airport. The room didn't smell unlike in other hotels. The bed was comfortable. The staff was nice.

Lovely friendly staff, amazing breakfast and brilliant air conditioning

I needed anplace close to the airport and after weeks of biking around Sao Tome this was a hidden gem. Soacious, clean, well equipped and with amazing staff. Thanks for all your cate and keeping such a noce clean place

The hotel is located just next to the airport, which is perfect option for evening flight from Lisboa (avoiding hustle taxi dark ride 15 min. to the center of the city). Location is very safe, there is a simple but tasty restaurant inside the hotel and the other one just next to the hotel (Tia Nanda), so no worries being hungry (fish, octopus, chicken, and always fried banana + rice). Staff can help you change euros to dobras with absolute fair rate - just write a message ahead and agree on amount needed. Breakfast is very pleasant - quite and relaxing (omelette, fruits, juice, yogurt, bread, butter). Lunch and dinner: fish and octopus were amazing and drinks were nice and cold (bear and all softs).
