This place is a hidden gem. Of course you cannot expect from it a resort hotel,its in the nature, but i has absolute "genius loci". When you wake up in the morning, you hear birds, water flowing, goose and rooster screaming and it gently massagges your soul with calmness. Its a special place, which covers all its imperfections with atmosphere. Dinner you can order from the locals and they bring it to you. Breakfast is very funny, but tasty! It is a but far away from everything, but you can rent a scooter there, we came by car so no issue at all!

This has been the most exclusive accommodation we have ever been to. You just can’t not fall in love with everything there. Zofie goes above and beyond to make your stay exceptional - whether it is the morning breakfast, which is something you can experience anywhere else, or is the fact that she will take the necessary time to find motorbikes for you - she has made a really special place and this can be felt in every small detail. We spent 2 months in Thailand this season, and I can say that The Retreat was our best choice. Clean resort in a quiet location, with spacious rooms, regularly cleaned. Courtyard with a small pool and jacuzzi, always clean. Great breakfast, free drinking water, other drinks at reasonable prices. The owner was helpful and knew how to organize everything according to your ideas. Bicycles were available for free - since there was not much traffic in the area, you could safely get to one of the most beautiful beaches in Khao Lak in a few minutes. There are several good restaurants in the area and beautiful Buddhist temple, where ceremonies are held regularly. We will definitely stay here again in the future.

Casa Bella has been beautifully and tastefully finished to a very high standard. We stayed one night in a double room villa which was perfectly equipped and the bedrooms were wonderful, so comfortable. Franky and team were on hand and continued to assist even after our departure which was so appreciated. Their communication and follow up was second to none, and they do genuinely care for their guests and experience. We had a lovely breakfast at the slightly larger complex around the corner. The bikes available to borrow on site were an added bonus, great for getting down to the beach / bars by the sea and for dinner in the evening.
