Located in the ancient city Patara, Apollon Hotel is only a 15-minute walk from the sandy Patara Beach. The hotel offers an à la carte restaurant and an outdoor pool surrounded by palm trees. Everything was great. The hosts were very friendly and polite. The breakfast was delicious and the village is the nearest one to the Patara Beach - about 40 minutes walk or a few minutes by car. The hotel had a nice and clean pool with sunbeds as well.

This is a very unusual place compared with numerous modern boutique hotels. Located in a olive garden, far from chaos and big cities rhythm, an old-style hotel with very simple, but very clean rooms. Lovely lobby with tea and coffee facilities 24/7, delicious home-made breakfast, friendly communication with staff. Parking and swimming pool are available.

Featuring stunning views of the Patara valley and the village, this family-run hotel offers air-conditioned rooms with a private balcony. Facilities include an outdoor pool and a tour desk. We had a brilliant time at Delfin hotel - it has comfy rooms, a great swimming pool with a bar (where you can also order food in the daytime) and lots of nice areas for eating, drinking, relaxing, playing or even working. They even have a small library of books in English and Turkish. Breakfast was always really tasty and plentiful and there is tea and cakes in the afternoon! However, my favourite thing about the hotel was the amazing staff. So helpful, friendly, great with the kids and always happy to have a chat - after only a few days they feel like friends.

Akay Hotel offers spacious rooms with a balcony and views of the garden with orange trees. Guests can enjoy free apple tea and coffee in the Ottoman lounge with its Turkish-style cushions. Kazem and Ayse have created a very friendly atmosphere during our stay and have helped us with many valuable tips. The room was very spacious and equipped with everything we needed. Also the cleanliness of the room, especially the bathroom which is equipped with a shower cabin, was outstanding. The breakfast comes with hearty and sweet options and includes homemade or homegrown products. The hosts were really flexible with breakfast times. If you are too lazy to go to the beach, you can relax at the pretty pool.

The village was small and very chilled with no hassle. I'm a single Mum and went with my 11 year old daughter and it was such a safe environment. The people were really helpful and friendly. It actually reminded me a bit of Guatemala, bit of a hippy laid back vibe, no McDonalds etc in sight! The beach was amazing, great waves for body boarding and miles of golden sand with only one beach restaurant, so unspoilt! Surrounded by ruins and a laying ground for turtles has ensured Patara beach isn't flooded with shops, beach bars etc, so 10 miles of loveliness. Best beach I've ever been to in Europe easily... Food in Patara is really affordable, booze a bit more (Muslim country) but fine. Some restaurants don't sell booze but plenty do! Spent so much less this holiday than in Greece. I never usually go to the same place twice but would seriously consider returning to Patara. Loved it!
Patara is a quiet and friendly little village. It has an amazing beach and a huge ruined ancient city just down the road. It has good and cheap links to the local towns by nearby bus and several nice restaurants and bars within the village.
We had not visited Patara for over 20 years and were really pleased to see that it had barely changed . It was very very quiet . Too quiet for the people trying to make a living sadly . There are a few restaurants and the food we had in all of them was fantastic. Fillet steak at the Sailing Club was the best we've ever eaten. Ayse pancake house was gorgeous and Ayse herself very friendly . Patara beach is superb and the ruins look amazing but it was way too hot to visit them.
Beautful quiet village with some lovely pancake houses and a couple of nice cheap resturants/ bars. Everone in the village is lovely. This is the closest you can stay to the amazing beach and ruins. The sunset at the dunes is to be seen to be believed. Tourism is really slow there at the moment which is crazy, normally l'd selfishly want it to stay so quiet but the people are so nice there I actually feel bad saying it... cannot understand why anyone who wants a quiet week away on the med would go anywhere else. I suppose staying right on the beach would be lovely but for the sake of the turtles i didnt mind the little 2 minute taxi/ bus/ friendly b and b owner ride.
The village is a quiet haven of tranquility. We tried out a number of the restaurants and the food was gorgeous in all of them. Some don't serve alcohol but there are three bars to choose from so that's not a problem. All the people are friendly and courteous too. The walk down to the beach through the Lycian/Roman ruins is a must but for those not feeling energetic enough to walk the 1.5km there is a regular bus service. The 18km of golden sand is amazing and there is one cafe restaurant/bar. The beach is only used from 8am to 7pm because during the evening/night time it is left to nature and for the Caretta caretta (loggerhead turtles) to enjoy.
Locati̇on is Perfect ! I loved Patara Beach, Ancient City and Kaputaş Beach. I have visited different restaurants in little village called Gelemis and Carpe Diem restaurant was my favorite. I would hire a car next time because so many places to see in this area..
Patara
This was probably one of our favorite places we stayed in Turkey and we stayed at all places we rated at least a 9 out of 10. The staff is incredibly friendly and the small bungalow hotel style rooms are awesome. You have your own front porch area and even a clothes line to hang clothes. There are food gardens all around the rooms. The restaurant here is AMAZING. There are a few parking spots on the hotel property If you’re driving. I highly recommend this hotel!
location is good, it takes 5 min by walk to get to street with cafes and restaurants. room was clean and cosy. but what is most amazing thing about this hotel is its owners. they are very kind, friendly and helpful people. they treat you like a member of family. breakfasts were very tasty and various. all organic fruits, vegetables from their garden, homemade jam etc. we enjoyed staying at jet pension and looking forward to go back there next year.
Patara
Nice cozy location with excellent view and clean house. Enjoyed the pool and the Host was excellent in answering any Qs or needs. Will visit again. You can drive around and discover many beaches all the way to Antalia!!!! Many restaurants close to the Villa and the kitchen was fully equipped!!!! Many thanks for sharing your property with us!!!!
The hotel for our family is a tranquil oasis and Nadi and his staff are on hand to make your stay as comfortable as possible. It’s spotlessly clean and the gardens are beautifully maintained. The surrounding area is one of natural beauty and it’s somewhere we return to every year. I cannot recommend it highly enough.
Wonderful place to stay! Famous Patara beach and calm Gelemis village for the excellent vacation! The hotel is great beyond my expectation! Very attentive staff, great swimming pool, sumptuos breakfast and unforgettable 5pm 'cake and tea' make the stay at this hotel very pleasant.
Patara
The staff that greeted us was amazing and very welcoming, we are very thankful for their advice and their talk about the town and overall Turkey. The property is beautifully decorated and gives a relaxing vibe to your stay. Breakfast was amazing!
Stylish family hotel with pool and bar and nice breakfast. Everything you could want for a get away from everything holiday near a beach with no mass tourism. Slightly hippyish in the nicest way. Good ruins, canoeing, coastline.

Medusa Camping is one of those places you fall in love with and not want to leave. I will definately be returning for a longer stay. The Staff, (Ezgi), were so lovely to me, very welcoming and friendly, made me feel at home as soon as I arrived. Pamir, the owner, is a lovely man, very kind and helpful. Breakfast was perfect. :) The ancient ruins of Patara are on the doorstep, the Lykian Capitol of Xanthos is just a few miles away in Kinik and the Temples of Letoon are easily accessible too and a must see. The Dunes of Patara and Patara Beach are something very special.
