Located a 13-minute walk from Silifke Museum, Limon Inn Hotel, Taşucu has accommodations with a bar, a garden and a 24-hour front desk for your convenience. Very helpful staff, helped us get dinner delivered when we arrived later on a Sunday. Room and facilities were perfect. Clean and comfortable. Nice rooftop bar! Great breakfast!
Located across Tasucu Marina, Marina Hotel is just 164 feet from the sea and the town center. The hotel offers a sea-view terrace, air-conditioned rooms and 24-hour front desk service. We've enjoyed our rest at Marina Hotel and would like to stay there again on our further trips to Turkey. It's a nice place, just a few minutes from the city beach, local market, and yacht club with small fish restaurants. Btw, Tasucu is a great choice if you're travelling by car - there are a lot of interesting places around it, just try different directions and you'll be surprised by totally different views! Speaking about Marina Hotel, everything was just fine, the owner of the hotel was super friendly and attentive to details during our living in the hotel. He's been taking care of our comfortable staying at his hotel and it was really great service. Breakfasts were very tasty and included fresh fruits and vegetables every day. The room was nice and clean, with a TV, air conditioners, a balcony and a nice bed.
Featuring free WiFi, an outdoor pool and a seasonal outdoor pool, Süzer Resort Hotel offers accommodations in Ayaştürkmenli, 5 mi from Kizkalesi. Very pleasant resort on the beachfront between Silifke and Korykos - very comfortable rooms, excellent food, genuinely friendly staff, and the sea is gorgeous.
Located on the seafront of a beautiful bay, Altınorfoz Hotel has a sun terrace with direct access to the sea. The hotel offers an outdoor pool, sauna and a Turkish bath. Kind and helpful staff, cleanliness, very good location. Private beach, clean. Animation programme finished at 23:00. No sellers forcing you to buy anything.
Silifke itself has a view sights (castle, apollo temple, old mosque (was being restored), fine river through heart of town). It's main attraction for me is I can hop a minibus and be in one of several interesting spots along the coastal road. The two castles at Kızkales (and the ancient grave monuments and churches slightly inland from the main road, if you manage to find them), the fine excavations at Kanlıdivane, the Heaven and Hell sinkholes and the nearby caves. A minibus to Uzunçaburç starts about a kilometer from the hotel. That is a fine sight also. The city itself has fine teahouses along the river, a few fine streets with shops, some poorer areas and is sprawling, whenever I return it has sprung a new neighbourhood. Almost opposite the bus station I always ate at the Lezzet Dünyası (World of nice food, I'd translate), where they serve on a 24/7 basis excellent Turkish food at low cost, with good service. Go upstairs to the Salon with well-set tables.
