There are a lot of restaurants we didn’t get to.
There are a lot of restaurants we didn’t get to. We didn’t travel with kids but there are lots for them. Museum. Lazy L Farm. Trampoline Park. Splash Pools. Library. We at Lamberts and BGs Deli and Logans. All fantastic food and great service. Will return.Jean - Scored 1010
This is a beautiful little town with great places to shop...
This is a beautiful little town with great places to shop and eat. Has a very nice sports center where we played our volleyball tournament and also some beautiful parks. There are lots of nice hotels to stay at that are not far from the interstate and offer reasonable rates. You will have no worries about finding a good place to eat, as they have plenty. We felt very safe in this city and the community is very welcoming.

We needed a place that was halfway between Greenville Ms and Chicago. This quaint city with a small town feel was perfect. Not too big like a city and not too small where there’s nothing to do. Be sure to visit the River front. It’s amazing.

We go there for the Sport Complex, we are super busy with volleyball! The Yummy Bowl looks like a dive but it’s clean and the food is good. Plenty of choices to grab dinner. They have restaurants that offer healthy food which we did appreciate.AAnonymous - Scored 1010
Cape Girardeau is beautiful.
Cape Girardeau is beautiful. Sadly this is probably our last trip because our daughter graduated today. We love eating at Dogwood and doing the activities there like bowling and ax throwing for cheap pricing. There’s a book store right down from Dog wood with older and newer book tok books. We love going to sugar chic for ice cream and walking down to the river and around that area to all the shops. Getting around cape is easy and I don’t think there is really anything we don’t like.

It was the Customer Service that I appreciated , since I've been in Customer Service for 50 years . Plus it was so nice & clean. A big plus since I'm in the Service Industry & Travel for a living. A clean room with clean sheets and a clean bathroom are at the top of the list. Thank you to the General Manager of this Hotel & working with your staff to make the Travelers feel like they're in a cozy , home like , atmosphere. So much Appreciated! Love your Staff! Thank you again. Keep up the Great Customer service & Atmosphere!

Very clean, safe area and the staff is so friendly and accommodating. The pool was great. The breakfast is as always phenomenal!! This hotel is known for their breakfast spread and we have tournaments in Cape Girardo once a year and always stay at Auburn Place. I wouldn’t want to stay at any other hotel in the area and we have been traveling to the area for years.
