The aesthetic was nice. Loved the fact that it felt like home with the kitchen and stove. Everything that a person would need, you guys supplied. I was very shocked to find glasses, pots, etc. You guys have truly thought of everything! Loved, loved, loved, the lotion, hand soap, body wash, etc. I plan to order all of it for my home. Loved having breakfast included, please NEVER change that. In this heat, the convenience of breakfast being included is a game changer!!! It was quiet and the staff was lovely. My deposit credited back almost immediately, loved that!

Motel 6-Palm Springs, CA - East - Palm Canyon, hotel in Cathedral City

Motel 6 Palm Springs East, located 3 miles from Palm Springs International Airport, offers rooms with cable TV. It has free WiFi and mountain views. Guest rooms at Motel 6 provide a seating area.

The price is always the best thing about this location. It's doable and encourages me and my girlfriend to stay here more often when we are in the desert area. The second best thing about this location is the responsiveness of the staff. The assistant manager Edgar really goes above and beyond to fulfill the needs of the guest. I see him out on the property interacting with tenants, and he always seems to be in the midst of helping someone do something. I really appreciate him and Manuel (who makes it a point to represent the company well through his attire, politeness, and resourcefulness) and it's very much for the reasons above that for the forseeable future, my girlfriend and I will continue to choose Motel 6 when in Palm Springs.

Cathedral City is generally more affordable that other locations in the greater Palm Springs area. It easy to get to the I10 and to the shopping areas in Palm Desert. It is a little further from the downtown Palm Springs area but the drive is easy and has more than one option for routing that allows you to avoid traffic. Some areas have nice walking areas although that was pretty limited from the location we stayed at during our most recent trip.

It appears to be a pleasant city with the necessary ammenities for shoppers. If you are in the market for a new car, this is the place to be. There were several theatres, both movie and live, close by.

If you can't find lodging in Palm Desert or Palm Springs, you might have to settle for Cathedral City. However, there's not much to do there and the amenities are limited. Go to Indian Canyons for hiking.

The Palm Springs Aerial Tramway, Moorten Botanical Gardens, Thousand Palms hiking path, and Ruth Hardy Park are all lovely attractions that keep us coming back in addition to the beautiful views. Driving around was very easy and shopping facilities were very good.

I liked that it was so close to the gas station and the strip mall with so many dining options.the pool area is large and didnt get crowded at all.the towels in the pool could have been stocked with more towels.a couple of times there wasnt any when I went down there. The breakfast was good with a decent variety to choose from and I like that the place was not in a real busy part of town.there are a few hikes nearby that we enjoyed and the staff was very friendly and accomodating.I was also given a 3hr early check in.

Cathedral City (aka Cat City) is between Rancho Mirage and Palm Springs. I picked this location of a Holiday Inn because the price seemed the most reasonable and affordable for us. It was along the road between Highways 10 and 111.

Some outlets didn't work for the charger, television out dated, entrance door to hotel room was faded and worn as well as carpet in hallway with a foul odor. Couldn't use the hot tub it had lots of debri, dirt and bugs. The bar restaurant had to correct my salad twice. And the front desk staff lacked skills for check in and check out, too many communication errors. Manager was a little rude.

Everything was really nice. Big bedroom and an amazing bed. Nice pool. We travelled to the Homewood from LA because we wanted to visit cable car, Palm spring canyon and Joshua tree so the location of the hotel is perfect, as well as there is a Walmart near by. The only thing we missed a lot was fruits and vagetables for the breakfast.

I liked the location with regards to family staying within walking distance from hotel . The hot breakfast available every morning was convenient. I felt very comfortable security wise as I was a solo traveler. There was always hot water for shower, refrigerator and microwave was great to have in the room.

The staff were so friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and the housekeeping services were impressive. We're from Canada where most hotels have stopped offering regular housekeeping, so this was a bonus.
