Hotel in Magnificent Mile, Chicago
This all-suite hotel is located in downtown Chicago, surrounded by upscale dining and shopping in the trendy River North neighborhood. It features free WiFi throughout the property. We stayed in a lovely apartment with plenty of extra room to cook, hang out, and relax. We spent Christmas here and loved that the hotel had all the facilities one could possibly need while also being close to shops, restaurants and loads of attractions! Eataly (in the same building) was a personal favourite, and the Starbucks across the street was very conveniently placed. Down the street there's a great Wholefoods for filling up on special treats. Our favourite thing was the Evening Socials, where hotel guests get a "light" complimentary dinner, including wine and beer. Like the very versatile breakfast, not light at all insomuch as one can eat your fill and still more and there's always plenty for everyone! My vegetarian partner didn't struggle either to find vegetarian options, and there were always plenty of fresh fruits and salads available at meals. Excellent stay. We'll stay here again in a heartbeat.

Travelers who stayed in Chicago near Chicago O'Hare International Airport (ORD) have said good things about Sheraton Suites Chicago O'Hare, The Rose Chicago, Tapestry Collection By Hilton, and Sonesta Chicago O'Hare Airport Rosemont.
It's very dirty. People are rude. One bartender at Big Star Taco was a disrespectful jerk as soon as we walked in. We asked what he would recommend from the menu and he said figure it out. We told him he didn't have to be so rude and his reply was go back to where you came from. It's sad that people spend money to travel and have to deal with idiots like that. I would recommend spending money in a state that appreciates you being there. We spent over 3500 dollars in 2 days. Definitely could of spent it somewhere else and had a better time. I used to love going to Chicago but with all this "I'm entitled" "Woke" stuff it's turned it into a crappy place to visit.
COMPLETELY different from what I expected. Miracle Mile is sparkling clean (ie, not New York), safe, magnificent architecture and sites, great (expensive) food. You can keep Chicago pizza, Chicago Italian meat sandwiches, and Chicago hot dogs. Next visit I will stick to Chicago Beef and Steak, with a daily side of lipitor. Most large American cities are now degenerate cesspools. Chicago to me was an American London ( I was born in New York), and definitely worth returning to . I can't say that about San Francisco, Los Angeles, or New York. Getting around: foot or Uber. Eat: Steak 48 on N Wabash. Favorite spot: ARCHITECTURAL River Cruises and Millennium Park Venues. Avoid the Southside if you want to live and write your own reviews.
There is something for everyone! It is also a good fit for many different budget levels. There are several options for travel including public transportation and services such a uber and lyft. There is a variety of food options. Many hotel locations are close to several different fun activities. Chicago is a great place to visit that you could come to several times and never see or experience everything is has to offer. I highly suggest visiting the Lincoln Park Zoo or catching a Chicago Cubs game.
Beautiful City with lots of places to see and enjoy! This is my 4th time and I haven't seen all. Grand park and Millenium Park are my favorites for walking or strolling. We visit the artisan market which was very nice! We've done a lot of fine dinning and my favorites are; Chez Moi, Marchessa, Le petit Paris, Chez Joel, Le Bouchon, Meli Cafe, RPM Seafood, La Buleria, just to name a few... Transport is excellent! We use the metro, bus, taxi and Huber for dinning out! I haven't came across anything to avoid yet :)
Downtown Chicago...River Drive, Navy Pier....is a real eye candy. Once in a lifetime needs to be visited....BUT....Beware of the various train stations...They are for the most part super filthy and visited by a large amount of mentally challenged people of all kinds. Too bad that the local authorities allow all this filth to be built up in the stations and grant free access to some very interesting individuals.....I have seen the same filth, the same situation in the subway system in Rome, Italy...so sad to see when a city is led by total incompetent people. Just do yourselves a favor....and avoid the various train stations....if you can.....
Everything about Chicago is awesome!! From Riverwalk, to the parks, museums, zoo, Navy Pier!! We did so much in the time of our stay. Great restaurants, jazz clubs and the people are welcoming and the history and culture is second to none!! Chicago is one of my favorite cities in the US.
Location can't be better, right next to where the river boat tours start, next door to the best roof top bar in Chicago and next to Michigan ave which has all the best shops! There are ice machines and vending machines in the hotel as well as a coffee station on the second floor (I only found that on my second and last day :-( would have been nice to know before). Easy enough to get to and from the airport using the blue line - it cost $3 vs Uber which was around $60-120 depending on the time of day.
very good position for business - with the blue line you are at the airport in about 40 minutes (stop “Monroe”). I attended a show at McCormick and it was very convenient because Central Loop Hotel is near Palmer House Hilton, where there was a free shuttle bus to McCormick. it is also a business area, safe and not crowded in the evening (during weekend it is hard to find open restaurants ). very good point : free water dispenser + bottle on each floor, near the elevator .
Very charming, maybe a little dated, hotel close to old town Chicago. Fantastic personnel, Good alternatives for breakfast lunch and dinner at the hotel. Amazing roof top bar! Very good location if you don´t need to stay in the city center. Good and cheap public communication. Close to the beach! Close to the Zoo! All in all good for everybody!
Good location in downtown,I can walk from the hotel to other attraction in chicago.Clean room with the towel 😅 because some of the hostel i have to pay for towel.I really love the comfy bed til I wanna stick in the bed whole day 😅.I have been traveling many country and this is the best hostel bed in the world.😊😊
We stayed at this hotel during COVID-19 with kids and despite it, we felt safe and secure. The rooms are spacious and offer everything one would need. Stuff was helpful and kind. The hotel is in the middle of downtown, close to the train and metro station, and easily accessible to major sights Chicago offers.
A really nice find in the Gold Coast area that is on a quiet street and close to Lake Michigan and downtown. It was easy to get in and out of the hotel and my room was clean and comfortable. The staff was also really friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay there again when visiting Chicago.
The hotel has attractions, shopping, food all around it. 10 minute drive from Soldier field. I recommend to anyone going to Chicago to stay here. It’s cost efficient. It is right downtown. In the shadow of *“sears” tower. The name has changed. I forget. But it’s right there.
The hotel is about 3o minutes from Chicagoon the train, the train station is 5 minutes walk. The Hampton inn is in a good location plenty of places to eat. The hotel offers a good choice of breakfast. Staff are friendly and helpful. We got a uber to and from the airport
The Omni Chicago Hotel is located in the heart of downtown. If you’re looking for a hotel surrounded by restaurants and shopping stores this is it! Also, Debbie the receptionist was very accommodating and friendly!
Charming and authentic hotel in an historic building of The Loop. Bed is super comfortable and nice restaurant on the ground floor. Fantastic view on Chicago theatre and super central for visits and shopping
Very hospitality in the very central part of the city. Stunning historical hotel where is felt the Chicago soul! Close to Magnificent Mile, to Michigan Lake. Too good for the value!
We liked the location. We were able to walk along the Chicago River and up and down Michigan Ave. That was the best part about the hotel (and its redeeming quality)- the location.
Great hotel, neat rooms and amazing staff! Location is ideal for anyone visiting downtown Chicago as it is right in the center! Highly recommended for families as well.
The Guest House Hotel provides a hybrid of luxurious and local experiences for tourists. I suggest to anyone who visits Chicago to stay at a hotel outside of downtown.
I will stay here every time I visit Chicago. Right in the heart of downtown. Hotel is attached to a really great cafe w. Gluten free and vegan options.
Location Location Location. The hotel was in walking distance to everything you need to see in Chicago downtown. The staff was super friendly.
Bed was super comfortable. Hotel is located right in the middle of downtown Chicago where most attractions were walking/CTA distance
Awesome views, gorgeous room, perfect downtown Chicago location. Trump is one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at.
