Home2 Suites By Hilton Chicago River North, hotel in Chicago

Well situated in the center of Chicago, Home2 Suites By Hilton Chicago River North has air-conditioned rooms, a fitness center, free WiFi and a shared lounge.

I recently stayed at Home2 Suites By Hilton Chicago River North for three nights, and it was a great experience overall. The rooms were incredibly spacious and comfortable, providing plenty of space to relax after a long day of exploring the city. The location is fantastic—situated in a nice neighborhood, it felt very safe and secure. Plus, it's close to all the major attractions and conveniently near a BigBus stop, making it easy to get around. There were plenty of great dining and drink options within walking distance, so I never had to go far for a good meal or evening out. The only minor downside was the breakfast service on Sunday morning, where there was quite a long line, and as a vegetarian, I found limited options available. However, this didn’t take away from the overall positive experience. I would absolutely recommend this hotel and will certainly return if I visit Chicago again!

FAQs about hotels in Chicago

Our Kind of Town

Standing proud beside Lake Michigan, Chicago is down-to-earth, friendly, and full of culture. It has outdoor art by famous artists including Chagall and Picasso, and there are some fascinating architectural works from the Art Institute of Chicago.

Home to blues and house music, Chicago has an eclectic music scene that reflects its spirit. The Windy City is also a pioneer in a variety of Americanized dishes from it's European immigrant roots like deep-dish pizza and the Chicago hot dog.

The world’s first skyscraper and Ferris wheel were erected in Chicago. The latter, on Navy Pier, is one of the Midwest’s most visited sights. Also famed is the ‘L’ transport system, whose raised trains circle The Loop, the main business district. Check out its skyline reflection in the shiny bean sculpture in huge Millennium Park.

Home of the Bulls and Bears, Chicago is a stronghold of sport and has teams playing baseball, basketball, American football and hockey, to name a few. If you get a chance, try to catch a game.

Chicago Midway and Chicago O’Hare Airport are both on the outskirts of this vast city, so make sure to leave enough time for travel from your Booking.com hotel, apartment or hostel. And all that jazz.

There is so many things to do in Chicago so I did not get to do everything I wanted to do in my 2 day stay. I will definitely be going back. The navy pier, the river walk, the skyline, it was beautiful. I went for the taste fest and everything I tasted was delicious.

We headed to Navy Pier as soon as we got to Chicago.

We headed to Navy Pier as soon as we got to Chicago. I always enjoy the activities and casual people vibe outside. Inside there were tourist shops and lots of food options. We took a taxi from Navy Pier to Millenium Park where a jazz festival was in full swing. After spending some time there we walked up Michigan Ave and perused the stores and watched street performers. After a break at the hotel and dinner we headed out to a night-time architecture boat tour from the Riverwalk. That was my favorite part of the trip I think. I have been to Chicago several times and there is always something different to do.

Chicago is a wonderful city to visit.

Chicago is a wonderful city to visit. Lincoln Park zoo is quite remarkable, moreso because it is free. The Field Museum, Shedd Aquarium and The Museum of Science and Industry are must see attractions. Loved every minute of it - wish we had done it when our children were in their early teens. For folks that are older, the Riverwalk is an enjoyable place for a walk. It is highly commercialized, but you do get a good view of the architecture. Wonderful step back in time. And, let me not forget- the fireworks display at Navy Pier on Wed night exceeded my expectations.

A very walkable place and also well connected to major landmarks through public transit. All transit staff in the city and airport were very helpful and courteous. The Architecture Cruise is a must for anyone who is visiting. Plenty of food options, though did not explore much as am very choosy about what I eat.

C'mon! It's Chicago! What more do you need?

C'mon! It's Chicago! What more do you need? Everything from low budget to fine dining. Rooftop bars are fun and the architecture is wonderful! Take an architecture tour via bus or river boat, the choice is yours! Check out the theatre district for some iconic views of what they offer. And, of course, you gotta eat some local food. Chinatown or Little Italy anyone? Variety and also the classics. Think Chicago style pizza from Malnatis or Pizzeria Uno and Due. Try a Chicago dog from Weiner Circle! You want it, Chicago gots it! The Museums are in a league of their own and you can always find something cool going on in one of them. Groupon offers great discounts for tours and hotels. Water tower is a must for anyone who hasn't been inside. Great shopping throughout. Go to the North side for vintage thrift shops if.that's your thing.

Great price for the location. Read reviews before you book it to not be surprised. Room is small but big enough if you're just spending one or two nights in Chicago. It's very clean which is important to me. Had everything we needed. Staff was very helpful and nice. If you're driving there's a parking on the other side of the street. It says $57 for the night but ask staff at the hotel and they'll give you a discount so you'll pay only $30 per night/24 h which is a good deal for downtown Chicago...
