allKingfisher is the Mayberry of the Midwest. I went to high school there and it was a wholesome place which it still is. Oil and wheat dominate and farmers are very nice people. I recommend you go to Okarchie, OK to eat at the oldest bar in Oklahoma called Eischen's Bar and have wonderful fried chicken and fried okra. There is also a great cinnamon roll place in Okarchie called Tower Bakery and restaurant.

This was a very nice town.
This was a very nice town. First time there, but everyone that I encountered were very friendly. Made us feel right at home. I enjoyed every minute there. If you’re traveling and looking for a hotel. I highly recommend the Holiday Inn and suites in Kingfisher. Absolutely the best.
