I grew up,in Madison and met friend there the next day . The town is charming and lovely.,I arrived late and there was no food on premise. There was loud noises from and upstairs room and I understand . The morning maid was obviously upset about the condition of the room,

Madison is a wonderful town for a well rounded visit. History, shopping, culture and wonderful eateries. The residents are warm and welcoming. Downtown Madison is walker friendly and well as ADA accessible. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

The historic district is the main reason we visited Madison. There seems to be a lack of good restaurants and watering holes. If not, they should be better promoted. We stayed at the Kirby House which I highly recommend. Looking for a watering hole was a challenge. Live music of any type? Piano bars? Good ethnic food? We plan on returning in the Spring and doing a better job of planning our trip in advance. Would appreciate information on Spas and potential tie ins with Bed and Breakfast establishments. Not necessarily a discount but mor a recommendation with easy access to booking. Overall, nice town with a lot of potential and we plan on visiting again in a couple of months.

Delightfully picturesque historic community. Wish we had allotted ourselves a day or two to stroll and explore all Madison has to offer those who enjoy American history, architecture of the 1800’s and a town that recognizes and appreciates its role in Southern culture.

The amazing homes!
The amazing homes! We will be back in December for the tour of Christmas homes. Beautiful town. The only thing that that I feel was not great the choices of restaurants. Lots of fast food(yuck) but only 1 nice restaurant. Others where pizza places. Chop House was great though.

Very cute small town that was fun for a weekend. Shops and restaurants were very nice and the patrons all very friendly! 220 bistro was great and Amici was relaxing and fun. The art store ways filled with local art and I had a very cool iron piece shipped home.

I highly recommend this hotel for overnight guests or longer term needs.
