This hotel was AMAZING for the cost. The staff was so friendly and the breakfast was AMAZING. We were greeted with a welcome bag and treated like gold. We will be back

A pleasant New Hampshire town whose downtown has a nice character and feel to it. Lodging choices are varied and there is just enough outlet shopping to satisfy that curiosity (though not always a bargain).
North Conway is a very scenic village in the heart of the White Mountains in NH. There are many hiking trails as well as mountain climbing. Lots of lakes and rivers. Of course, lots of places to ski. There are many good restaurants to choose from and a large outlet mall. The Muddy Moose has the best clam chowder. It's a fun town to visit with plenty to do.
Beautiful view of Mt. Washington. Convenient location for us as we did a lot of hiking during the day at Cathedral ledge and Diana's Bath, and other waterfalls in the area. The scenery and the village itself reminds me very much of Lake George , Adirondack Mts. in NY, but I don't think quite as hectic, but that may be because we went before summer season really started. I would go back, really enjoyed our stay. Also, the hotel where we stayed was pet friendly, and we were able to take our dog with us on our hiking trips. He loved the water.
Something for everyone year-round whether active or just relaxing. Nice to get away from the urban hustle and bustle and enjoy quality family time. We went candlepin bowling, saw a great movie (Dumbo), cornholed, played basketball and soccer, ate too much, saw a son play college baseball, miniature golfed, went fishing and fell asleep as soon as our heads hit the pillow. If it really is about LOCATION LOCATION and LOCATION, then North Conway is the place to be. A big thumbs up to the staff at the Briarcliff Motel.
From where we stayed, driving was a must to get to eateries & activities. We did not participate in any commercial activities other than dining but chose North Conway because of its proximity to our outdoor activities and trailheads in the White Mountains. We ate at a different restaurant each evening as there are many choices but we returned every morning to Glen Junction to "fuel up". Our visit was in the off-season thus traffic and crowds were light so staying in the central area was no problem. But that might be different in peak seasons. We don't have children, but the area is definitely kid-friendly.
Been going here to vacation since I was a kid and excited every time I see that first mountain when driving to NH. So much outdoor activity year/round for all ages and it is an awesome New England town with plenty of great dining and shopping. Bonus points if you go there Columbus Day weekend to see all the foliage, beauty as far as the eye can see!!

Everyone at the hotel was warm and friendly, especially the owner Eva, who will show you New England hospitality! Room was very nice (not that I spent much time there!) Great central location for all of the stuff I wanted to do (moose watch in town, whale watch, Ben and Jerry's, Drive in movie, Portland Maine, etc. Already planning next year's trip (Castle in the Clouds, Vermont Teddy Bear Factory). Will happily stay there again!!

We had stayed here 11 years ago and it was nice to revisit. The staff were welcoming and it is very good value with an included continental breakfast. Situated just south of North Conway it is easy to get to many places. Although there are no coffee making facilities in the room tea, coffee and cookies are available from 3pm to 5pm which is good at the end of a busy sightseeing day.

.A great stay in North Conway. Located in walking distance of restaurants and shops in town. You could roller skate in the huge toom and bathroom. The decor matched the age of the house and getting into and out of the room was simple. This room could go for $200 or more per night in foliage season, so it was a great bargain for mid-week winter.

BEAUTIFUL indoor & OUTDOOR pools. We had breakfast daily at the OUTDOOR pool. lots of friendly families on vacation too. Great location, CLOSE to everything North Conway offers. Staff was very friendly, helpful and kind. Especially Eliza at the front desk who went out of her way to find my daughter's list gogles.

it was a lovely place to stay, it is an older place, but there is no smell, everything is fresh (paint, smell, no carpet, new taps), They accommodated our ATV's and let us park them behind the building. If we go back to North Conway, would book there again. :)

I stayed here only one night. And the bed which I slept was the most comfortable one I have ever had. And plus, it has a great location. So you are able to do some shopping easily. If I stop by North Conway I'll probably stay here again.

Room is clean, comfortable and recently renovated. This renovation is superficial, you can still see it used to be an older motel. However, it is a very good choice for North Conway. There is a campfire at night.

Overall nice B&B (but nothing super special), with friendly staff, conveniently located in North Conway, close to lots of restaurants (and stores) and only a short drive to many hiking trails.

The young man at the front desk when I checked in was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Got a free breakfast voucher for the restaurant, Had an omelet with hash browns cooked to perfection. The room was clean, and had a mini fridge in it. The only downfall was the ice machine in the lobby was out of order. We also used the outdoor pool which was wonderful! I recommend this place to anyone looking for a lower budget room that's clean and quiet.
