The staff in every part of the hotel were warm and friendly. The room was immaculate. The bed and pillows were like sleeping on a cloud!! I will definitely be back!!

Definitely love Ocean City a couple times a year, being so close to home only an hour drive from where I live just a night time out is always convenient! Everything is always so convenient and there are hundreds of things to do! Wish I visited Ocean City the day I moved to Delaware in 2015, only been there starting last summer. So far the best food is Touch of Italy not being a seafood lover and the best icecream is Dumsers. If you are looking for a great stack of pancakes, Decatur Diner is where it's at! ALWAYS look forward to visiting this town in Maryland. Side note : the beach is great, always clean from litter

I normally stay at a different hotel but they were fully booked and I was disappointed but I am so glad that I stayed at the Grand Hotel, it was so beautiful decorated for the holiday. I arrived after 11 p.m. and met Kayla, she was handling the front desk she was so informative and helpful. At 2 a.m. I was awakened by a honeymooner and I called the front desk and asked to be moved due to the loudness and immediately the front desk send security with my new card at hand. I was impressed with the swiftness of action and in the morning I spoke to Melissa at the front desk she was so understanding and she gave me a late discharge. I know that I will come back and spend some time with my family at the Grand Hotel.

The beach and boardwalk will always be a true crowd-pleaser. I'm a yearly visitor to OCMD for well over 18 years during the summer and fall seasons. Each time I've gone no matter the season, there was something to do. Granted you might have to venture off the boardwalk and onto the bayside to find amenities like Nightlife, and upscale dining by example, but it is definitely worth the trip. My fiance and I frequented Seacrets, and Fager's Island. Our stay happened to span over the weekend so these places were ALIVE with live bands nightly and great food, drinks, and pleasant atmosphere during the shows. Highly recommended. Driving OCMD is simple, transportation is available but not in abundance during the off-peak season. Just be aware of that change-up during the off-season. If I could make one suggestion as to what to avoid or be aware of, it would be that most of the amenities around town, that you'd expect to be open, will not be, during the off-season. Just plan accordingly to find other things to do, that are still open, or have special hours of operation.

Ocean City, Maryland is a destination spot for me that I visit at least once a year. I usually plan a visit during the summer tourist season and in the early Fall offseason. My favorite hobby is fishing. And as far as variety of fish to be caught and the different types of fishing, Ocean City ranks extremely high on my list. I have fished all over the world, including the Amazon Jungle. And Ocean City still ranks in my Top 3 places to fish. One of the most overlooked places to fish in Ocean City is the Oceanic Fishing Pier. It is rated as one of the Top Fishing Piers in the US. I highly recommend that pier. Also, the local charter captains are some of the best in the business. Pick any of them as you can not go wrong. You can also fish one of the many public fishing locations in OC or take a short car ride to Assateague Island if you are feeling adventurous.

Less crowded than July and August. People friendlier In early October in OC. Been going to OC since mid 60's when my father bought a rental house on 62nd street. Glad the accelerated beach erosion of the 60's - 80's ended. Beach wider after late 80's beach restoration. Beach restoration has held up well despite what pessimists claimed back then.

This was my very first stay at Ocean City, MD, The Americana Hotel Boardwalk & my stay was excellent...even with the KNUCKLEHEADS that were smoking & caused the fire alarms to go off, thus, having the residents to evacuate the hotel...the evacuation was done in an orderly manner. The front desk staff were very professional, organized & knowledgeable...my room was very clean & we loved, loved, loved the hotel's location right at the Boardwalk! My family & I would stay here again

The location of the hotel is good. It is right along boardwalk and close to many attractions. Our room had all the necessities for us including a/c, fridge/microwave, safe, tvs, private oceanfront balcony, and comfy bed(s). Each room got two free chairs on the beach per day. The pizza shop, Grotto Pizza, has delicious pizza and the staff was nice. There were many other shops (food & shopping) close by.

We stayed in the Ayresbilt room 809. It was oceanfront, spacious and very clean! What more could one ask for? We were worried that the boardwalk would be very noisy at night but it was not. We had a wonderful time and truly loved the old pieces of furniture and the efforts made to keep the hotel true to it's origins. The staff members treat this place like their own!
