Many families visiting Park City loved staying at Westgate Resort #4706, Stein Eriksen Residences, and Black Rock Mountain Resort.
Stein Eriksen Residences, Powder Pointe Slopeview, and YOTELPAD Park City got great room view-related reviews from travelers in Park City.
We loved how nice the rooms were. It had a fully furnished kitchen and large table for our family reunion. There was a beautiful view from our patio. We enjoyed all the on-site entertainment, multiple swimming pools, ping pong tables, tennis courts/pickle ball courts, play ground, and hikes near by. We also enjoyed the complimentary valet parking. The staff was very nice, friendly and efficient to get our supplies up to our room. The only downfall was we had 17 people at our family reunion and we couldn't all fit in rooms close to each other. So we ended up booking rooms as close as possible and one of the double rooms was our main area for meals and activities.
Early May is a slow time in Park City. A few shops were closed or had limited hours. However, we felt like it was the perfect time to visit specifically because it wasn't too busy. Just be aware that the weather can change quickly. On Friday, May 6th, it was about 70 degrees. By Monday morning there was about 2" of snow on the grass. Be prepared for all types of weather if you visit in the spring. The movie theaters absolutely suck, but that's not the main reason you go to visit a place like Park City. Just thought I'd mention it. If you want to see a movie, I recommend driving down to the Cinemark in Sugarhouse.
I really wish I liked it better. So close to the ski lifts and lots of fun places to go. But ouch! My wallet! The prices for food and drinks here are so high they're insulting. It's like the whole town is conspiring to price-gouge all the visitors. Something's gotta give, we're not all Hollywood celebrities and billionaires.
My wife and I skied in Deer Valley for 5 days and had a great time together and with another couple also here. Skiing was great, and that was the main reason for our trip! We mostly ate at our condo, but did go out to a restaurant (Nosh, Israeli food) one night, and it was lovely. It was easy to catch the city bus to get to the resort. However, that can take between 15 and 60 minutes depending on how long you wait and the traffic. Park City is friendly and filled with visitors this time of year; it's quite a busy little city.
The views surrounding the city of course were impressive. Some merchants not friendly at all, most were wonderful, making a person want to return to their business. Some great places to eat, especially the Grub Steak. Food could not be perfected beyond what these people have done. Added bonus if you have Danika as your server. Traffic is a bit chaotic, but survivable. No complaints at all and plan on visiting again.
great location if your looking for a quiet getaway in the off season. Really nothing not to like! Will definitely return to such a great location. If you go to the nearby grocery store you can prepare all the food you need in the kitchenette. The full size fridge, storage and provided dishes, plates, glasses give you everything you need. The microwave/ convection oven is fantastic everything is kitchen-aid. Theres a washer and dryer but no detergent. A dishwasher and 2 burner stove. There’s even a small safe to store valuables, but we didn’t use everything. The fridge has a place for water inside and ice below in the freezer if you have it make ice.
Canyons, Park City
Updated, large rooms/bathrooms. Fireplaces were nice. Easy garage parking, so even though we were not slope side, it was easy to drive to Park City/Deer Valley. A well stocked 7-11 is a half mile away, carrying WSJ. Hotel shuttle was prompt when we did need it, from the public bus stop by 7-11. We were glad to have the washer and dryer in our rooms. Bedding was very comfortable. I liked the steam room and sauna. Top end soaps and shampoos were nice touches as well.
Visited during a very quiet off-season Sept weekend, hotel maybe 1/4 occupied. Fast and efficient check-in, nice secure underground parking, quiet building with indoor pool, requested a room facing away from the street which was granted, has a relaxing woods view. Clean, spacious room and kitchen, comfortable bed. Loved the gas fireplace for cool nights. Screen decks were nice for fresh air. Appreciated masked staff.
Shadow Ridge had everything we needed to enjoy our first time in Park City. Our family of 3 appreciated the size of the unit with a well stocked kitchen. Great location - across the street from PC Resort and walkable to Main Street. We also appreciated having a garage for parking and the convenience of a ski rental facility in the building who gave fantastic service. We’ll definitely be back!
Park City
Great facilities, with free laundry and car parking, free shuttle bus is amazing- very convenient will drop you and pick you up from the mountain each day as well as taking you to Main Street as required, pool and hot tub are spacious and undercover. Kitchen facilities are convenient. 10/10 would recommend to all.
Park City
Located a short distance from the mountain, easy to get to and from the mountain by hotel shuttle, free city bus, or relatively inexpensive Uber. Shuttle service to downtown on the weekends was very nice. Evening shuttle driver was polite and kind. Hot tub and pool were nice, great temperatures.
Park City
The staff was amazing, Alex de manager was super friendly and helpful, we got an upgraded that was super amazing, the ski rentals at the hotel was supreme, the bus stop at the corner of the hotel very convenient, restaurants around, the bakery perfect
Very modern and clean. Marriott beds are the best - always perfectly plush. The front desk service is professional in a way that's become scarce these days - a smile, clear information, eye contact, conversational, well dressed.
Everything! It was the most comfortable, enjoyable stay! It was beautiful...i will definitely stay here again more days!! Just for this hotel I will travel to Park Place city in Utah and enjoy this city more thoroughly ...
Canyons, Park City
Location couldn’t be better! Steps from the gondola and we could ski back directly into the hotel. We also had a create suite: two separated rooms with a spacious interconnected living room. 3 baths in total.
Park City Peaks is a very nice hotel in a great location. The staff are super friendly and helpful. I had the pleasure of meeting one of the owners who advised me on activities during my stay.
