Hotels near Sunset District, CA

Great location on the beach, nice staff, lots of place to walk around.

It's such a unicorn to find affordable lodging in SF, let alone so well located. This was not my first stay at TP and as long as they offer such clean, economically sane, rooms, I'll be back again.

The place was great value for the money. Everything was good

Staff went above and beyond, room quality, value for money, cleanliness, location

Safty door knock-system 7/24 Reception

As a recurring guest at 1906 Mission, I can confidently say this place consistently exceeds expectations. Each stay feels just as welcoming and comfortable as the last. One of the standout features is the cleanliness—especially in the shared spaces. The bathrooms and kitchen areas are always spotless and well-maintained, which makes a huge difference when you're sharing with other guests. It’s clear that the staff takes pride in keeping everything in excellent condition. For me, staying here is more than just booking a room—it’s choosing a thoughtful, calming place to land in the city. Highly recommended.

This hotel has a great location. Nearby, there’s a cozy street with plenty of restaurants, cafes, and bars—an atmospheric place to explore. The hotel is clean and has its own parking lot. The staff is excellent. When we were initially given a room with windows facing the inner courtyard, we asked for a room with windows overlooking the street and a balcony. The staff happily found us a nice room with a balcony. We had a very pleasant experience interacting with the staff. Thank you!

Very stylish, clean, great location, easy self-check in

The hotel is clean and tidy, the staff are friendly and keen to help

Perfect location. Cute Coffee shop on site which has a good selection. The staff were amazing

i was so curious to see the interiors of the hotel after browsing through the pictures, and it's even better irl! the hotel is very charming and its old-timey decor delivers both looks and comfort. my bedroom was cozy, it had an armoire to store clothes, and a bathtub which i always appreciate. the breakfast spread didn't have many options, but the waffle maker worked alright. tram connections just around the corner, and a pleasant walking distance from russian hill with lots of coffee shops and second hand boutiques.

Have a very good location and safe parking.

Very good location Very good staff.

Excellent stay at a very reasonable price. I stayed here for three months -- I had not expected such a spacious and comfortable room given the central location. Large fridge+freezer in the room, clean and well-equipped common kitchen, full-blinding curtains (They're sliding wooden blinds), the whole place is kept really clean and tidy.

A spacious, cozy room with a beautiful view of the city. I also loved the rooftop pool.

Excellent location and facilities

Beatiful neighbourhood room style and service

It was súper comfy the room, and the process of a virtual front desk at first i was a bit scared of it but it worked so smoothly, I’ll definitely be back Loved they don’t use single use plastic and have the water filtre available for everyone to refill bottles

Gorgeous artsy hotel in a good safe location in San Fran. Great size room with comfortable beds. Very friendly helpful staff. Very close to a laundromat. Easily able to get street parking close to the hotel. And good transport links.

The proximity to where we were going, the lovely breakfast and friendly staff.

A very special location with very few hotels to choose from, but Laurel Inn delivers in all aspects despite the lack of competition! Its got a mixed vibe between a boutique hotel and comfy roadside motel. The rooms are spacious (both the bathroom and sleeping area), the beds are cozy, the staff are all friendly and helpful.

Location, charming decor, comfy rooms and great hospitality.

Quiet, comfortable, calm ambience that meant we relaxed the minute we arrived. Friendly staff who were always happy to help. Delightful room with wonderful views.

Great location, very clean room. Staff very friendly!
