Grand Canyon is beautiful during sunny days
We went in October and weather was perfect to visit all scenic view points - Mather point, Hopi point, powelle point
We travelled with kids aged 13 and 6, they loved the views and little walk/hikes. We used the park shuttle to move between different view points and shuttle was great/reliable/frequent

Tusayan is really close to the entrance to the Grand Canyon which made it perfect for us. It was a pretty area to stay. They had plenty to do such as helicopter tours, hummer tours, bike rentals. Our resort The Squire was great especially good for families. We did the IMAX and also the Buck Wild Tour which I highly recommend. Gigi was our tour guide at Buck Wild and she was great. We did the sunset tour and LOVED it. We ate at The Squire restaurants because when I researched the area the restaurants weren’t rated great. Grand Canyon was perfect.

Not much to do.
Not much to do. You have to drive 1 hr or more to see the popular attraction in Arizona. I stayed here due to airport and a conference. But took rental to hover dam and Grand Canyon tombstone. Other than that not a lot of activity

Tusayan offers a reasonable alternative to the usurious prices Xanterra is asking to stay on the South Rim of the canyon. The town itself seems to have been built last week and there's nothing to do there after 8:30 pm. Having said that, the town does offer the most vegetarian friendly steakhouse imaginable (yes, looking at you Yippie-Ti-Yay) and a few other restaurants that are not national chains as well as a post office that . . . functions, tho the postmistress is not a very polite representative of the federal government.

The staff does not speak my language and there are some offers that they offered me but they did not tell me that Mondays did not apply. They did not know how to tell me where the entrance or the attractions for the Grand Canyon were, I would have liked information for any day of the week to be available . The place is pleasant, it is cold, the landscapes are very beautiful.

If you have problems with slow drains, apparent black mold and/or unreliable heating unit get after management to change rooms immediately! Housekeeping were pleasant and worked hard. Front desk staff can be indifferent.

This is a really nice cozy hotel with good facilities. An excellent restaurant for dinner. Small indoor pool and a hot tub. Easy parking and plenty of other restaurants and shops within walking distance.
National Park entrance is just a few minutes drive, but be sure to get there early; later in the day, the queues were stretching up to Tusayan general store.
Everything about this hotel was awesome. We had bad weather during our stay. Our visit to the Grand Canyon was a bit disappointing but staying at the Squire made up for it. Clean facilities and they offer fun activities for the children. Highly recommend!
We had a great time in this hotel which is really near to the Grand Canyon and that was exactly why we booked this hotel. It was good that breakfast was included.
After a big day at the Grand Canyon the hot tub was amazing - particularly as it was snowing at the time. The restaurant was good as well as the hotel's bar.
