I came to Bequia on the last boat down, and there was the Spring Hotel transportation waiting on me to guide me to the Hotel. Thank God because I have no sense of direction even with Google Maps. It took about 15 minutes to get to the hotel, which is so secluded and private. As I arrived, there was a staff member ready and willing to take my bags to the room. The room was clean and had a mini fridge, a porch, TV, a safe and both bath and pool towels. They had arranged to spell out happy birthday on the bed for me and even pick up a cake from the boat and place it in the mini fridge. The staff and environs at Spring Hotel were exceptional. They make you feel at home! I would definitely return.

the chalet accommodation was good and one could be sociable...

the chalet accommodation was good and one could be sociable with others in the main building or on the beach if wished. we ate in the restaurant at breakfast and for dinner in the evening. we are not a young couple, far from it! but just enjoyed the beach and had a relaxing holiday.
