I loved my stay at Honeyguide. Everything was beyond my expectation and made my trip magical. The staff and drivers are great, they are very friendly and warm and make you feel like at home. The location is awesome. They are a private reserve, but there is no fence, so animals from other reserve can roam here, and you might get a chance to see them. Also, they can go off-road which makes the games so much more interesting. We saw everything except the leopard. The pool at the main area is a huge attraction. The elephants regularly visited the pool to drink water when we were staying, and we got a chance to see them very close. The tents are very comfortable with heating mattress (helpful for colder nights).

Located in Manyeleti Game Reserve, Buffelshoek Tented Camp offers a garden and barbecue. Sabi Sand Game Reserve is 21 mi away. Free private parking is available on site.

This was the most magical trip and we highly recommend Buffelshoek Tented Camp! Dudley and Lynn are so amazing in welcoming guests and making the stay absolutely amazing. The guides for the game drives are fabulous! Both Beckson and Elvis were so committed to making sure we saw all that we wanted to, even if it meant driving across the reserve! We saw the big 5 and so much more! We had shared that we were celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary and they helped make it such an incredibly special day for us. On that evening we also had an elephant visit the camp! Wow!! This was definitely a bucket list trip for us and it far surpassed what we dreamed it was going to be!

Lyton was amazing, he tracked the different animals and made sure we saw a variety of animals in our safaries. Very knowledgeable! The good was delicious, room was always clean, and everyone was very helpful and friendly.

The game drives with Andres were incredible. He went above and beyond to make usre we see as many animals as possible driving large distance across the park. This also meant that he needed to drive fast the "Ferarri" jeep, which we enjoyed. Also, the game drives were longer, sometimes even up to 5h as we were tracking animals. This was of course not great for our chef Peggy, however did this not deterred her from serving such tasty food. We got to learn a bit about the food culture of SA while we eat here. Thank you so much for an amazing adventure Andres and Peggy.

Location is very good in the bush. It is directly outside the Kruger National Park (Orpen gate). The breakfast and dinner included in the price was very delicious, and they took my Gluten free requirements into account. The staff is wonderful and so friendly. Although there are no animals in the camp, they offer game drives to the Kruger and to the Manyeleti Game Reserve next door.

Excellent location, great accommodation and awesome staff, special mention to Altracia who looked after me and my daughters. Also shout out to ‘Prince’ our Safari Warden for the drives - he got us on the Big 5 and the Ugly Five!

Staff were so friendly and welcoming and met all our needs. The price is inclusive of breakfast and dinner, and all drinks at the bar! They were very attentive to details, for example packing us breakfast bags for the days we leave for the safari game drives and making sure we always had enough water. The dinner food was also AMAZING, probably was the best on our whole trip
