We had the most incredible stay at this beautiful cabin in the heart of the Knysna Forest! From the moment we arrived, we were surrounded by nature’s magic. Waking up to the sounds of the forest was pure bliss, and our morning was made even more special when monkeys came to visit—one cheeky little one even stole some cheese while we were enjoying our coffee! One of the absolute highlights was relaxing on the netted balcony, feeling completely immersed in the treetops. And then, as if the experience couldn’t get any better, a gorgeous Knysna Lourie perched right next to us for five unforgettable minutes—truly a once-in-a-lifetime moment! If you’re looking for a peaceful escape with breathtaking nature encounters, this place is an absolute gem. Thank you for such an unforgettable stay!

We loved our stay, it’s private enough that you can really relax. It was clean and comfortable and would definitely come back. My only suggestion is to make sure ice trays are full before new guests check in - but it did not take away from our stay.

The Location we loved it very quiet and the view was exactly as we saw on pictures,Collette and her husband were very helpful and welcoming and the rooms were very neat ,i would go there again because i love nature and that the 1st thing you see when you wake up.

Location was great for us as we wanted to be close to the restaurants and shops. We absolutely loved the fact of the monkeys that came to visit during our morning coffee. Peter was a super host and checked in quickly when we needed something. Awesome place to stay, fantastic service and surroundings, we’ll be back.

    Nothing, well probably the pictures we saw when booking because when we arrived we were taken to some what looked like a haunted house at the back of the hotel and we were informed that unfortunately booking.com has placed us on those rooms. A scary scenario. There’s no way that anyone can sleep there, I don’t think even their staff sleep there. No bathroom in site had to walk to some corner room for bathroom use.

    Amazing breakfast in the form of a picnic, so unique. Close to Knysna, all my needs were met and exceeded Thanks to Mr du Preez whom chased us down to bring us stuff we forgot, I am eternally grateful
