We were thrilled by the artful attention to every aspect of the accommodation (inclusive of welcoming letter; flowers in the living area and bathroom; farm milk in the fridge; complimentary sherry; lindt chocolates on the bedsides) but far beyond all the personalised touches, was the location of our bungalow perched above a virgin afro-montayne forest with a zig-zag path descending to a mountain stream and a superbly crafted timber swing bridge. Our stay was pure romance.

We had the most incredible stay at this beautiful cabin in the heart of the Knysna Forest! From the moment we arrived, we were surrounded by nature’s magic. Waking up to the sounds of the forest was pure bliss, and our morning was made even more special when monkeys came to visit—one cheeky little one even stole some cheese while we were enjoying our coffee! One of the absolute highlights was relaxing on the netted balcony, feeling completely immersed in the treetops. We loved our stay, it’s private enough that you can really relax. It was clean and comfortable and would definitely come back. My only suggestion is to make sure ice trays are full before new guests check in - but it did not take away from our stay.

Location was great for us as we wanted to be close to the restaurants and shops. We absolutely loved the fact of the monkeys that came to visit during our morning coffee. Peter was a super host and checked in quickly when we needed something. Awesome place to stay, fantastic service and surroundings, we’ll be back.
