Cottages in Amarante

Beautiful spot, lovely rooms and nice facilities. We'd have stayed longer if they weren't booked up already. We loved the lemon tree outside our room and the breakfast was lovely!

So green, with all these 🍇 vineyards. Sweet pool, very comfortable with 2 bedrooms. Thomas is so nice and caring.

Beautifully restored home, amazing attention to detail. Comfortable rooms. Bed linen and towels very good quality. Lovely view of the region. Exceptionally clean. Friendly hostesses. Each room has a small fridge. The balcony is ideal for a quiet sunset drink. Close to the town of Amarante but you do need a car, approximately a 5-7minute drive to town. Great base for day trips in the area. Amazing breakfast.

The hosts David and Karen were very welcoming and very responsive to any questions that we had.

An absolutely fabulous place to stay, steeped in history and still lovingly owned by the same family. It was a privilege to be welcomed so warmly by the owners, who made us feel like part of the place’s rich story. We enjoyed every moment, especially the wonderful breakfasts, which we savored in the morning sun while reflecting on the centuries this incredible property has witnessed. Truly an unforgettable experience!

Hidden Gem in Perfect in perfect surroundings !

We loved everything about the property! The warm welcome, the rooms, the breakfast, the lovely and refreshing outdoor, the homemade jams and everything in between.
