FranceExcellent room, clean, and decorated with calming colours, just the ticket after a hot gruelling drive. The shower was great, a good size, the bed firm and comfortable, the sheets cool and pure cotton. Tea and coffee making facilities available. The fan was a godsend as we stayed during the heatwave. The owners were very welcoming and attentive.

United KingdomWe were travelling further South and wanted a 2 night stop over to break up the trip.
Really lovely lodge in a nice on a clean family estate. The lodge has everything you need, including outdoor games for the kids. The owners are super helpful, and replied to all my queries promptly.
Access to the estate is via a automatic gate, so you need to go to the lodge to collect the digital key and then bring your car in. Inside the estate is a fab indoor/outdoor pool, and various other actives, basketball, tennis etc.
The location is really handy for various towns and beaches within 15 minutes drive. There is a campsite across the road with a bakery and shop that you can use.
The cabin is pet friendly, but super clean, so my son who has allergies had no issues.
We were unable to find a dedicated web site for the estate, but you can a little more information by searching the name.

An amazing property for a week’s stay.
The host was really lovely and accommodating, being available on hand via phone/text for any needs/issues.
The house is a great size with every modern requirement you could have.
The hot tub was huge and lovely to relax in each night.
A beautiful forest stroll to the beach with our dog was great to do each evening.

Really enjoyed the authentic French cottage experience. The jacuzzi gave it an X factor. Lovely location to walk through forests. Host was very amenable.

The house was spacious, very clean (recently renovated?), with 3 bedrooms, a large bathroom suitable for people with reduced mobility, an outdoor dining area, good central heating, good cooking facilities with plenty of plates, glasses and cutlery. The house is located next to an old farm, about 5 mn drive from Commequiers (20mn walk). The countryside is lovely, and there is a medieval castle in Commequiers that is worth having a look at.

Manoir De Ponsay is a fabulous stay for experiencing a manor house and farm. Highlights are the views, the countryside, and the breakfast. We chose it also for location to access Puy de Fou for a day trip.

The house is amazing. Very beautiful, well decorated and warm. We stayed for Christmas and the owners really created a nice Christmas spirit. The only issue is that they were mice. It may be because of winter and the countryside but it is still not a nice feeling to get mice droppings on pillows before going to bed. We discussed it with the owners who did not accept to make a rebate but proposed a discount in our next stay.. we were a bit disappointed by that. I advise you to check if the problem has been fixed before staying there.
