We had a car rental so it was relatively easy to get to Cork etc. The countryside was lovely and although we didn't have time, there's a beach a few minutes in the opposite direction, at Youghal. We brought our own food and were happy with the kitchen. The house itself was one of the most beautiful that we stayed in, very modern, classy, well-designed and comfortable.

The cottage is clean and the amenity is fabulous. Two pubs and a cafe within a 2 minute walk with great food and live traditional music. We loved our stay at the cottage.
